In the beginning of the mission, right before the landline ambush, you can hear ghost say "Why do we have to wear these fireproof vests?" very softly. And if you look closely, you can see that he got shot to the left of the heart, and above the lungs. Robert Bowling (IW member) had confirmed that ghost is alive.

yea ghost was wearing a fire proof vest and after being shot in the shoulder it badly injured him they had support snipers who rushed down to help him ghost had managed to get to a river to wash himself off / stop the burning

How about the feeling about the death of Roach and Ghost is close to the same way I feel about Renee Walker's death in 24. The death of Renee Walker made me stop watching 24 and I didn't see the series finale of it as well. As far as I concerned, Renee's death never occurred and the DAy 8 is non-canonical. After Shepherd killed Roach and Ghost, I finished the next few missions non-stop until I killed Shepherd.

i finished that game the exact moment i saw this, cause, even if roach was a silent protagonist, he grew on me and ghost, i knew little abbout him, but he always was by my side.

when i beat the game and went to muesem,i killed everyone except shepard, and got a riot sheild, pressed the button, then beat the shit outta him with that shield it felt good.

i did tear,at the end when you see the whole group photo with ghost in it......good times

@TheMhn5 Deus Ex is amazing...I HIGHLY SUGGEST you play Legacy of Kain and the Witcher. Legacy of Kain is a series where you have to pay close attention to each detail and stay up to speed with the story because it involves a lot of time travel.....The Witcher is a series where the story SEEMS to be basic at first, but if you really take the effort to see into each character, listen to what every character has to say, and you take that step to understand what's going on as a whole, it's AWESOME.
