@HardcoreGamer4Ever The DS version is better because it has more levels, stars, bosses, and more than just Mario. Plus the graphics look almost as good as the Gamecube. There are three contoller modes for whichever you like best.

@pockuinator But the DS version has far inferior controls, which were extremely frustrating and prevented me from enjoying it as much as the original. It's still a good game, but I wish it would have had analog controls.

I hate to act like I'm some sort of adult, having only been born in '87, but to understand the steps that videogames have taken you kinda needed to be there, waiting for the next crazy awesome experience to come out.

This game was friggin' amazing, and I was still coming down off the buzz from Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and Final Fantasy 7 was somewhere during this time as well.

It's not that games aren't amazing now, because they really are. But the 'Move' and 'Balance Board' are in now.

Many shooters are pretty much the same except they change the enemies to different kinds of aliens, zombies, secret government soldiers, or different enemy nation soldiers. Thats why i love nintendo so much because i love the variation in mario games. Nintendo also has unique quest games like zelda & metroid. It also has SSB, mariokart, & party games.
