  • I live very close to Huntington WV. I listened to the Perry Sisters in 1984. I thank you for the history and this song. I didn't know they were from my way. Another song from them is " Who Will Work In My Vineyard? Someone please post it. I loved thier songs and the people on here are right.....Sometimes you want to hear the orginal people that you first heard it from. I would buy all thier songs again. I would love it if someone would post all thier songs.

  • i rember having a tape too, and it has vanished as well. sir could you please post "soon going home". i think that song is on the album. if anyone out there knows the perrys personally, can you ask them to re-release all of their old stuff. they don't have to worry about it not selling, i think all their old stuff would sell like hotcakes!!!!

again, thanks for posting and God bless!

  • I'm looking for the song "I Asked the Reason Why..." I guess that's the title. It's so beautiful, and I want to hear it so badly. Love this song!!

  • this is my all time favorite group young and old no body beats The Perry Sisters!

  • Thank you for posting this older recording by the Perry Sisters. Their older material is very hard to find.

  • I have several of their cassettes from the late 80's and 90's. I believe the only one I'm missing is "His Name Be Praised." Let me know if I can help you replace some of your Perry Sisters music.

  • Jason, thanks for the post and all the history that you shared with the song. I have a cassettet that the Perry Sisters recorded in the last 80s if I remember correctly. It was a live recording that included Zion's Hill, Two Coats, I Wonder How Mary Felt, and I'll Not Turn Back to which Diana gets pretty wound up and gives a wonderful testimony. It is truly one of my Southern Gospel treasures (long lost and forgotten by many but still blessing me).

  • Loved the Perry Sisters, seen them in person years ago and wondered where they had got to and if they were still singing. Thanks for sharing this song!

  • I Love this song Thanks so much for the post keep them coming
