  • Like it :)

  • It's sad that I own the NGX from PMDG and i know what every button and switch does in these videos now.

  • @cory1337 then why not considering doing the type rating on the 737?

  • One of my favorite aircraft video, thank you :)

  • They are Belgian ^^

  • What airline is that?

  • Damn it ,they didn't show us how to lift it off . I got everything else .

  • omg, cannot wait! just... a lot.. .more...years togo lol

  • Is this in Norway, Denmark or Sweden?

  • @patrickchristensen96

The language sounds like german to me

  • @JohanS94 The pilots speak French between them.

  • Excellent video. I really enjoyed watching it!.

  • @manbal100 And you just need about £74k lol.....I'll just check my pockets hold on.

  • @manbal100 After that, you will see that FSX means nothing, the physics are terrible and so is the environment - REX or no REX - Its still terrible. . After reading into my dream of becoming an airline pilot, I have found out that it is very hard to get into and that its not all high flying (Excuse the pun) and plane sailing (Excuse me again). I am now on my 18th hour, and if I had the choice of never getting into aviation, I would have jumped at the chance. Unfortunately I will continue.

  • @B7379ER I'm in the process of an ATPL integrated training course at Oxford Aviation Academy and haven't regretted a single second of it and doubt that I ever will.

  • @marmaluke666666 Good.

  • @B7379ER you can become a airline pilot 1800allatps epic flight academy or aerosim academy don't let anyone tell you differently I am a airline pilot and I achived my dreams.

  • @StratusAir1 Thanks, I will continue, and it's a lot of money (That I'm struggling to get) so I need a bit more money to get straight into it, or a sponsor.

  • @manbal100 Being experienced in FSX means nothing, son. Have you had a trial flight yet?

  • Nen...he wasn't doing 340KIAS...he was doing 198..the striped marker is the 'OVER SPEED' line..it's set so that they won't pass it. Watch the center of the airspeed indicator, his airspeed is 198 - 200KIAS...also, compare the speed on the artificial horizon to the airspeed indicator. Jussayin...

  • superbe, merci

  • very cool

  • "AWESOME"!!!!!!!!!

  • "Hold my beer, captain."

  • I am probably about to ask the million dollar question: how does one get to film the pilots like that, especially after 9/11?

  • Nice video! That takeoff and climb seemed pretty steep. Just curious, how steeply does the Boeing 737 climb on takeoff?

  • @nenblom Couldn't be to steep, he was doing 340KIAS.

  • Excellent vid

    8,5/10

  • It's Brussels Airport (EEBR) right? :)

  • @gtam95 EBBR i think :)

  • @Master0Macho Oh sorry! I don't saw I did this wrong. :O

    Yeah EBBR :p

  • no flight director for climb...different. commando style. cool vid.

  • I'd like to be a pilot though I am not scince diploma holder.

  • damn i cant wait to get my ratings!!!!

  • ........................ :)

  • Brilliant! But how da heck d'ja get in the cockpit in this day & age of terror scares?

  • Very nice vid. Thanks..

  • This gotta be one of the good demonstration video I have seen. Nice 737 cockpit by the way. Impressive.

  • fantastic video!!!

  • Listen to the pilot fart at 3:33 ;)

  • Real nice video. I'm a big fan of the 737 and that looks just like the one that Feelthere/Wilco puts out (PIC737) for Microsoft Flightsimulator X.

I love to see the real thing go.

  • Excellent Video!

  • do the pilots ask permission for pushback or they take it automatically

  • @youssef5671 - They need to be cleared for push-back.

  • wow.... nice video.... I love it....

I am not a pilot but my job require a lot of international travel.

Salute to all cabin crews who dedicated their live to make these things happen......

  • I have noticed that on the earlier series of B737 (pre- NG) the pilot monitoring always starts the clock running at the commencement of the takeoff. Is that to measure flight time or some other parameter?

  • what was used for recording?

  • great video cheers from australia . im a flight attendant with qantas. the boeing 737, is a great work horse.

  • Great video!!!

  • Great job !!!!

What an amazing video and career!!

  • u are so lucky i only 11

  • I wish I was a pilot...

  • @yalbazi You say that now, but when you really are there will be times where you ask your self where the hell you went wrong. haha

I still would not do anything different tho.

  • One of the best take off videos I have ever seen. Great job.

  • i want too :)

  • awsome vid i really want to do what you guys do , thanks for the vid

  • Great program! The airport, Williams Gateway used to be an Air Force base, and the runways can take any type of aircraft in the world. Makes it nice and easy for beginners learning how to land.

  • haha coffee before take-off :P

  • nice video !

  • I thought this was a great video. It had grea HD, clearness. I liked the cut away shots. I could see a bunch of Orange planes, after take off. I loved seeing the dash board. great keeping filming

  • liked it..

  • Hello, on what feet do you flying at the end?. And what is the name of the airport?. Please with ICAO.

  • I want to be a 737 pilot!!!!!!!!

  • It IS Fantastic

  • Very cool!!!

  • @DeathtubeSuperCunt looks a bit like DHL... only airline i can think of with red and yellow livery.

  • nice video thanks

  • i am helicopter pilot.....wakkwkakwakkwkakkwkak

  • @karlx85 sorry to hear =\

  • Awesome Vid!

  • they speaking dutch in the cockpit! seems like klm does not welcome non-dutch speaking pilots to fly with them. :|

  • very nice vid

  • @killerman778 The ground engineer has given the crew the thumbs up stating that all equipment is clear and he can taxi and the captain acknowledged this.

  • Good video thanks for sharing

  • @killerman778 the pilot just did a bye bye nd a GO signal to the ramp attendant

  • Nice video, Can someone tell me witch french airlane company does still have 737 aircrafts (not the NG)

  • @chamilitary999 may be airfrance cargo? i know they got some 737-400..

  • @chamilitary999 jetairfly has still a few 737 classic versions imo the classic vesrsion has a very nice flair love her :)

  • @ killerman778 : just say goodbye at the ground crew ;-)

  • He waved at the rampy.

  • Impressionnant Thierry quel métier !!!!!!!!

9a donne envie ça doit être terriblement passionnant d'être aux commandes...

    à très bientôt sur FC

    John

  • Love this ONe 200th Rater !! :D

  • Okey mate....sorry .......

  • You don't need to be, my first reply to your comment was unnecessary.

  • haha.....cheers I 'll Add you as a friend :D

  • Interesting, the FO is flying manually without the flight director and they didn't set the speedbug either. First time I've seen a movie of that.

  • best video or in Flight Deck i have ever seen , GREAT VIDEO !!!!!

  • at 2:05 the pilot is drinking while driving!!!!!

  • it's probably water dude....everybody has to refill and its called "taxiing"

  • it was a joke get it he is driking and flying wow how can you not get that....

  • @Cessna162 it was tea, you could see the some and the pigment. They are allowed to drink and fly as long as their not the ones operating the aircraft (in control at that time) and yes, it is called taxing or positioning.

  • A very good cockpit view film, thanks, it was interesting to watch!

  • How do the pilots know which taxi-way they must take to get to the gate or runway. :)

  • They've charts onboard. They get a taxi clearence by the ATC and after that they just look on the charts to see wich taxiways they need to take.

  • Ground controller woud tell them wich one to use. Also they have the airport charts on borad.

  • They got all that information from the tower (ATC)

  • Military. If you quality they will pay for all of your flight training, and you wont be in debt up to your nipples. Not to mention the military has the coolest planes available, things you wont get a chance to fly anywhere else.

  • I disagree, I suggest going to college for pro-piloting. In the military, you aren't the one who decides if you're going to be a pilot or not. In college, you are.

College might be costly, but chances are as soon as you graduate, you'll have your pick of jobs if you paid attention and know your stuff, and paying off the tuition won't be a problem. You'll also be able to see your family a lot more often with a civilian job.

  • Why do civilians like you pretend like you know about the military? You can choose if you want to be a pilot in the military, You can go to college to get your BA degree whoch allows you to go to OCS. After OCS you can apply for pilot school, if you make it through pilot school you are a pilot in the military.

  • @Chris9183 wrong, if you attend a service academy you can choose whether to attend flight training or not

  • not necessarily...you can volunteer for it, but it doesn't mean you'll get it...

  • @TylerPilot007 75% of naval academy grads and 85% of airforce grads all attend just to be able to go to flight training after graduation....its pretty much guaranteed that they will go to flight school even if the demand for pilots is up or down. Yes they are technically "volunteering" but its not really, its one of many military occupational specialties they can choose to pursue after graduation...

  • @Chris9183 This might be a tad strange but i could not find one school that will train you to become a commercial jet pilot. All the pilots flying us around are actually retired military pilots. I mean there are hundreds, if not thousands, of flight schools in the US that are very costly and your main training tool is a Cessna.

So where do you go from there? You can't apply at United or any other commercial airliners because you have absolutely no knowledge or experience about Jet Airliners.

  • @Kurac80 There are several types of airliners, what you're talking about are big major airlines, the "I'm settling into this airline as a career for the rest of my life" kind of airline. As a pilot fresh out of college, you'll already have a little experience with large jets in simulators, and that's good enough for some small cargo airlines to consider hiring you. They usually teach you what you need to know, you don't really go to school to specifically fly certain types of planes.

  • OMFG AWESOME

  • sweet vid.

  • why do they fly vor to vor and not the shortest straight way?

  • because you have to fly certain airways.

  • still not an answer..= )

  • bravo

  • awesome video! :D

  • excelent video..the sound is very clean....awesome...5stars

  • what language was that they spoke- I mean the pilots.. ?

  • They speak french between them, inglish wt the tower.

  • omg, so cool !

  • Man, I want that job.

  • You can if you realy want it, juste believe my friend...

  • @hmizou93100 Air Makambo has a cockpit seat for everyone.

  • @hmizou93100 if your medical 100 % mate ;)

  • 2:40 - 2:49 i love when they feed the engines a little at first, then full power

  • yes it's EBBR, Brussels

  • 2:47 oh god, i love this sound

  • I always wanted to go to school for flight training, but its too bloody expensive :(

  • You can join the airforce and learn and get expirience and then go commercial. That doesn't cost you anything

  • what is that sound that aircraft started to produce in 3:35??? someone please answer, thanks!

  • rectracting landing gear

  • impresive flying! this guy had his FD off....

  • Filmed very well. You captured everything that I would want to be looking at if I were in the jumpseat. Nice work!

  • Can you tell me a little more about the tiller? At what speed is the tiller used for steering and at what speeds are the rudders used? Can the rudders be used for taxi for speeds at say 15knots? or can only the tiller be used at such slow speeds? Are the rudders ever used when in taxi? Cheers

  • At taxiing speeds the air speed would have a negligible effect on a large plane like the 737 (compared to, say, a personally-owned Cessna). On the ground the only use the rudder would have would be to help the tiller align the craft on the runway centerline during takeoff/landing.

  • Rudders are mainly for takeoff and lfight and tillers are for ground control. You should never be going faster than like 15 knots for light turns and like 10 knots for tight turns. I believe the tillers control the wheel and the rudder control the rudder which is most effective in flight.

  • cool vid 5/5

  • Great video, 5 stars but I'd give 10 if I could :)

  • Brussels Airline, isn't it ?

  • Why did F/O turned engine bleeds off after startup and left APU bleed on?

  • Could be a Bleeds off take off?? If you were a pilot you'd know what that is...to much time spent on Flight Sim I can tell :D

  • Im not sure if I understood you right :) I though that normal procedure is to turn engine bleeds on when you have engine started and you use no bleed takeoff only when is outside high temperature. You let APU and APU bleed on and turn off after takeoff. Am I right? Of course I spend too many time on FS, but there isnt better way to fly jets, Im still too young ;)

  • Ya you're basically right, it is very rare but we can do bleeds off take off in order to get that little bit more outa the engines on take off. Some of the power from the engines is obviously use to power the Air Con, so with that being switched off, we get that power as extra for the take off. The rule is normally if you are "hot and high!" So hot temps at high altitude airfields for take off. There is a separate "bleeds off after take off checklist."

  • Ok, I thought so. But tell me one more thing - what means high altitude airport? How many ft MSL?

  • To be honest there is no specific number of MSL where it's concidered high enough for a bleeds off take off. It is dependant on many factors both Temperature, Pressure and Altitdude- which are all related. We use performance chartstables to work out what power we require to take off. For a flight sim point of view (an you won't notice a thing even if you do one) but I would guess anywhere from 8000' up you'd maybe need to do it- but that is a guess. If the plane was empty then you wouldn't :)

  • hey, michaelpece, was you who videotaped this video?

if yes is very cool ... : D

  • love these videos, but all you nerdy fruits need to get over yourselves

  • what is pushback?

  • Pushback is when an airplane with a large mass (like a Boeing or Airbus) is drawn from the gateway. This operation is carried out with a small cart.

  • what does "drawn" mean?

  • When an aircraft is "pushed back" off the stand. Not rocket science!! We dont have a reverse gear, and rear view mirrors mate, we need little help...holy crap!

  • Not sure who you're talking too, but I fly this aircraft for a living- would hardly call that being a airplane freek. The only person with an attitude here is you, you CUNT. What you gona do when you grow up, I fly these, you sound like an uneducated loser!

  • Ok, if I believed that I'd believe anything. To be honest I don't much care if you believe me or not, nor will I tell you how much I earn. I'd say pilots and Doctors are on a par regarding pay anyway. Good luck being a Nurse in your future, there is no way you'll be a doctor with the attitude you have....

  • i think hourbuilder is right. a job isn't about the pay. i think the pleasure of being able to see the world from 40,000 feet in the air and being able to fly such beautiful machines is worth more than six figures any day. (if i'm not mistaken, however, pilots do earn six figures! best job in the world)

  • y do you have to talk like that

  • It sure sounds like you have the makings of a fine doctor. Why such disrespect?Anybody that gets into ANY field just for money is a fool. Every pilot I know has a passion for airplanes, and flying, which is more than I can say for most professions. Keep it up hourbuilder! irocknunoit91 will be lucky to mop up piss in a nursing home.

  • lol

  • Mop up piss in a nursing home! Ha ha i like it! Well said pal.....

  • no 73 i have ever been in has a wheel tiller in the FO's seat... captain side only period.

  • my friend, I am a 767 f/0 and used to fly 737s. both pilots have a tiller for body gear steering. the handling pilot steers the aircraft. trust me

  • On the 757 only the captain has tiller.//

  • Hi I think you need to do some research pal. Have a look at a 757 cockpit then comment. It is true that some airlines took options for the captain to have the tiller wheel only but most didn't. This applies to 737/757 etc. I am in the flight simulatir next tuesday but I stop by the 757 and take a photo for you.

  • Well, i was yesterday in two flights, both a 757 and entered the flight deck, only the captain has a tiller

  • look I'm not going to get drawn into an argument by an amateur plane spotter. Unless you are in the business how did you manage a flight deck visit? Check you facts, email boeing or whatever but please dont argue!

  • you right, just stop the arguement , peace
