i know you are happy that protools 9 out im going to buy 2 motu 24 i o and run them to protools 9 then run the 24 i o to a mixing console for mixing and eqing all tracks that are in protools fuck buy hd can save money now lol
I hear ya......I learned the hard way of getting rid of old equipment and regaining it again. I Bought a TR 909 by Roland in 86 brand new for $700. Went to Germany a few years later and sold it.....I was stupid. Now I can't get one and if I did buy one it would cost 3x as much. People are trying to give me big bucks for my Roland JP 8080 and VP9000 and they have got to be smoking crack because I'm keeping those babies till I die....LOL
@subwayfan68 Thanks for the compliment, I know a lot of people get rid of their old get rid of their old gear when they upgrade their setup to a computer based environment. This way I have the best of both worlds.
I got it from Guitar Center. I believe it's called the Producer's Desk and it comes comes in a mahogany color too. I also have another desk but it's smaller and I found a bookcase to match both desks from Staple's (Office Supply Store)
Nice studio!
