  • i can't describe my feelings when i listen to it. i just can't.

  • @ddgxaudrey Nobody can. I'm sure...

  • one of my favorite songs ever. it affects me in ways i don't understand.

  • Wow doesn't give Maynard any credit for his version?... lame youtube uploader

  • @ExplicitContent81 Maynard actually decided not to take any credit for this song/version himself..., read the facts before making any comments about any uploader or any credits being lame.

  • I love both versions to be honest. It's hard to pick a fave when it comes to Bowie.

  • All this time I though this is the original O_o

    I like it muuuch more!!

  • @SIRA4LIFE Yes, he played Jareth, the Goblin king. He wrote and recorded four songs for the movie as well. The movie came out in 1986 and he played opposite Jennifer Connelly. The movie is amazing; I highly suggest watching it. (:

  • does "disco king" stands for cocaine?

  • @David050688 sound right to me heheheheh

  • @David050688 dead or alive, bring me the cocaine? O.o

  • YEAH MAYNARD yeeah!!

  • Yep he was....

  • I love it ♥♥♥♥

  • david bowie + maynard james keenan = best song ever made

  • @marticrutcher cant forget frusciante!!!

  • Original version way better! Much more interesting chords on the original track!

But this version is good as well=)

  • The original doesn't have Maynard, Milla Jovovich, Josh Freese or John Frusciante. This version is superior.

  • Definitely like this a lot more than the original.

  • i was on 4 g's of shroom and one tab of lite acid and this song was beautiful......it changed my life in a way

  • awh big man on shrooms

  • i dunno why you had to reply to my comment in such a negative way i was just trying to express the way this one song has made me feel but i guess

  • you mean 4 portions of shroom right?

  • I adore the original version of this song, but this is a surprisingly good remix. The string section is quite beautiful, and I like the more 'heavy' section at 2:39.

The feel is entirely different from the original, but this is a very interesting take on the song, and in my opinion it works well.

  • david bowie-is the badass-love his music

  • Renholder + MJK = In the words of the boosh "The New Sound"

  • AMEN TO THAT

  • It's interesting, and it has a certain kick and oomph to it, but I prefer the more understated melancholy of the original. The original makes me think of tired streets, while this one, especially the violins, just makes me think of movie or HBO trailers. Maybe it's because I know it's featured in a SDTK. Ah well. I'm glad I got to hear it anyway. :)

  • I like it ^^

  • much of this remix was inspired by Maynard, not just Lohner

  • "The sound on this video is a bit scratchy."

    :(

"But I like the remix just as much as the original."

  • I just recently found out what my mom meant when she said I have Bowie eyes. :D

All these years and I've never seen a picture of the man...

  • I love this version.

    The entry is so eerie.

  • danny lohner kicks ass

  • Maynard, Bowie, and lohner all collaborated to make a brand new version, and this is it.

  • thank you so much for posting this song! I searched all over to find the remix, and I almost gave up until I found this. thank you!

  • This version can be found on the soundtrack of the movie Underworld. I like the original.. but this mix is a thousand times better in my mind

  • I'd venture to say that both versions have their unique and powerful beauty, seeing as I seem to only have(the other)I'm finding this one so very mesmerising at the moment.Much thanks for the breathtaking post, with lovely pics no less.

  • this song is so awesome! i freakin love it to death...powerful thanx for posting it =]

  • This is really cool, I like the other version better but I liked the drums

  • This verson of the song is much better. It has that slow, kind of depressive mood that the lyrics express

  • Very true, I'm hearing it for the first time right now and that is exactly what I thought. I think Bowie should collaborate with Danny Lohner on his next album!

  • Great song

  • very smooth remix, and easier to listen to. still prefer the more "difficult" old school jazz of orig tho.

  • maynard rocks!

  • Maynard? This is Danny Lohner's remix.

  • i know but i guess u don't know that the back vocal in this song is maynard james keenan singing "don't let me know we're invisible" part.

  • its maynard frusciante and bowie mixed by lohner

  • it's maynard because its from puscifer for underworld:evolution check it on itunes

  • breathtaking...

  • I love this version, thanks for posting it here...
