The reason y pcs get more viruses is because of what they can do. They are very expansive and can do vast numbers of processes and functions. Macs however just aren't as versitile. PCs really get less viruses if you do not count Mac as one. Mac is a PC though. Linux bases computers are PCs, Window bases computers are PC, unless of course it is server based.
Ever heard of VM? You can run Windows basically as a program fro Windows based programs all thru OS X. It's actually more secure since windows is insulated from OS X since OS X is inherently more secure.
You don't even know the basic concept of Virtual machine. MacOS can not "insulate" the Windows systems running on VM. It still can get viruses and malwares.

@J6Unlimited i did update it and it doesnt have security. it just runs on a os that people dont make that many viruses for because macs only control 10% of the market. and no the mac isnt more stable. you get a shitload of beach balls and if any of the hardware in it is having a problem or you need to replace it, you cant because they want you to buy another one and the warranty doesnt cover physical or water damage, only software damage so yeah your fucked.

The reason y pcs get more viruses is because of what they can do. They are very expansive and can do vast numbers of processes and functions. Macs however just aren't as versitile. Sure they might be better virus wise but for true capability gotta go with pc. Plus macs are just overpriced in my opinion.

No it's because Mac's have higher security with allowing and rejecting files that try to download other than a PC that will just allow anything to download without your permission. More people have been using Macs in the past 3 years than PC's anyway.

I think it might also be because not many virus makers would go through all that trouble to infect possibly 6-9% of the worlds computers. They'd target PCs, since they're more popular. And they've got to be popular for a reason....

PCs really get less viruses if you do not count Mac as one. Mac is a PC though. Linux bases computers are PCs, Window bases computers are PC, unless of course it is server based.

Ever heard of VM? You can run Windows basically as a program fro Windows based programs all thru OS X. It's actually more secure since windows is insulated from OS X since OS X is inherently more secure.
