  • Wow! I've known this song for a hundred years - different versions of the 'bom bombom' version - but had never heard this one before!

  • Love it! I was just a kid in the 80s, but man was I glued to MTV...back when they played music videos.

  • Sleeping on the floor sucks. :)

  • great song

  • he was a skinny dude.

  • delish vintage !

  • Phwooar! I'd kiss him...mmm...much better than Robbie Williams..mmm!

  • I remember dancing with so many girls that would drag me onto the dance floor when this song was big.

  • Tin tin were of course Stephen Duffy (original lead singer of Duran duran in case anyone didn't know) along with Mulligan and Dik Davies from Fashion. You can really hear the Fashion influence on this song - especially the drums.

I wonder how Duran would have sounded if Stephen had stayed.

  • @ickleian Check out v=rwbqAyKpH9U (The Devils - Stephen Duffy with Nick Rhodes of DD) and you might be onto what they would have sounded like...

  • @daypeshmodd// The 80's were great times. But the music explosion the Brits had in the 90's was a mild shake here. I'm in my late 40's now. I enjoy Pulp, Blur, Suede, Arctic Monkeys, and I could go on and on. Make a list of your favs. I'd like to see a band I've not heard of. Rock On U.K.!!!

  • @Os151985 Found ur reply by accident.Smth wrong w my emails.

The Brit invasion was HUGE from 60s to 80s incl. So much great music. The BEST!

You from US? Not me, nor Brit. Me making a list of my 80s faves would be endless!Love a lot of what I'm sure you (&lots of people) know. But let me think a little of a diff. kind of list (diff. genre).

Btw, I respect ur choices & like many of them. Never tried to attack them. Believe that!

Read bout Duffy's carreer: feel silly bout what I said before

  • I remember now of another album after this: The Lilac Time (new band)...that's all.

  • It would have been interesting to see Stephen Duffy fronting Duran Duran back in the day. He has such a lower key than Simon Le Bon.

  • BunnymanVids. I do stand corrected. None the less. Some of the musicians here in the U.S. should be drinking it by the bus load.

Example: what ever is coming out of our top 40 radio stations. Thanks.

  • 80's British Music. The Best That Ever Was.Thank You Echo & The Bunnymen. TIN Tin. Siouxie & The Banshees. Duran Duran.Culture Club. Thompson Twins. XTC. Inxs. The Mighty Lemon Drops. The House Martins. Blancmage. ABC. Boomtown Rats. Icicle Works. Ect, Ect,& Ect. Thanks Britain!!!

  • @Os151985 Absolutely. There must be something in the water there to have so much greatness come out of one small island. INXS came from Australia though. Yet another island.

  • @Os151985 True, but the Rats were Irish

  • @Os151985 I don't agree with all your choices, but I'm definitely a huge fan of 80s Brit music! It's the best music of all!

I remember when I would harass dj's to play me this one (would find a way to go to bars, when wasn't supposed to). 1st time I see this vid, it's great! Still have some vinyls, including EPs. Didn't follow his career afterwards, did he have one? Only one thing bugged me about him. He was very good-looking but too much aware of it, as this vid & albums show, posing a lot.

  • I do, though, agree with many of your choices, and could add many more others that are faves of mine. But you did say yourself ''Ect, Ect, & Ect.''. SO TRUE!

  • @Os151985 80s American music was not too shabby either....

    Prince,Bruce,Madonna,M.Jackson,VanHalen,GnR

  • @Os151985 Depeche Mode, OMD, Pet Shop Boys, Franckie Goes to Hollywood... OMG!...

  • @Os151985 and I think you might find the Rat's were Irish........... but then that's another island too!!!

  • I believe this the short version of the US remix released after the original recording, which is much better then the first one.............

  • and it was great to have been there

  • i have never heard of this version. really great! this must be original??
