In contrast USA lost barely half a million soldiers. The shield in Poland wouldn't stop Russian missles because it's to close to their teritory , it's made against Iran. (on the other hand , setingthose anti missles in UK would make them capabe of stoping attack from Russia , that makes me think why did Russians preffer to set them in UK instead of Poland lol).
