The ae86 came with either the carburated 1.6l 4a-c if it was an sr-5 model or the fuel injected 4a-ge if it was a GTS model.

The 2jz didn't even exist until the jza80 supra came out.

But people do swap 2jz's into ae86's, they just never came from the factory with it.
