  • I am a Christian and I partially agree with some of the things you say, but I am NOT afraid of death. Thank you. And make believe entities can be very helpful. Of course Catholics are messed up! And it is insane. I don't go to church, but it is helpful have someone to rely on (real or not). Especially if you don't have family anymore. What if you have social anxiety? So you don't HAVE those friends who can help you. Anyway, I think that what you believe is VERY rational, but a God is nice too.

  • me 2

  • Oh dear cupcake :I You just spoke all my thoughts on this! Thank you, thank you, thank you! :D

  • Finally someone who think like I do :O Im never going to understand Theists, For me God is not better than Bin Laden or Hitler. I used to be christian aswell but I only find myself hating and feeling disgusted by this thing that makes good people do evil stuff -:/

  • I feel like I just watched a video of a floating head talking about religion... lol

  • Meh, my brother is gay and I'm an atheist but my parents still love the both of us. They didn't cast me out or stone him. No Christian man or woman I have met believes that rape can simply be forgiven without literal consequences or the law becoming involved. Every religion has its extremists and every religion has those who simply want to be left with their beliefs, which I think is just fine. To each their own.

  • But when Jesus returns we will go to heaven and when you want to come with us, he will say"I never knew you" what kind of man just let's this happen? I tell you when you tell me why you think you can say this? We have free will, I'm not kidding this literally made me cry watching this. It makes me sick just hearing that....

  • God gave humans FREE WILL. That is why the things you mention occur. It's not God, it's humans choosing to sin. Besides, what happens to us in this earthly life is not important. What is important is the afterlife!

  • @PastorBillSuttcliff I agree!

  • Christians will emerge one day & run down the streets, beating non-believers with sticks & cleansing the earth of scum. Then the Rapture will occur, & only Christians will partake. Hail Jesus!

  • Agreed finally someone with an actual opinion of truth speaks <3

  • I totally agree and trust me I'm not being a suck up i truly do agree with Greg

  • you are so different now XD

  • This F-ing culture of narcissism! Everyone wants to be famous! Everyone wants to be heard regardless of how stupid and pathetic their words are!

  • I'm sorry, but as I keep watching your video, I try to understand you, but I can't seem to. Towards the end of your video, your comment about rapists, it hurts, because many of us are victims of rape, and some of us look to God for guidance. Rapists are human beings who do evil upon others, who are sick and unforgiving, God does not make them do those deeds. We all have a choice, whether it is to do good or bad, it's up to us, but God is there for strength, to move on, to be better, to change.

  • Not all Christians are stupid, not all "God's" are the same, in every religion there are beliefs that most do not agree on, but understand this, religion is man made, you say that you don't understand religion, it's because you do not understand humanity, the way Humans can be so cruel towards one another, not God, stop blaming God for all you problems. God is like a power we all hold deep inside, when we search for good, when we do good instead of complain, that's God, wehn you see.

  • Out God gave us free will to what we want, but he wants us to praise him and love him. We make the decision to rape, kill, and destroy. You say how can this "God" allow all these horrible things to happen? But, what is "evil", its anything against God so if he were to take away all this bad what level does he stop? the murder level? the lieing level? . We are forgiven, I wish I could just talk to you in person because, you adrresed alot issues I can not contain in this message.

  • God gave us free will he doent control who get raped or who get robbed.. you say you see christians doing bad things but not all christians do bad, your religion doesn't decide what you do in life you choose how you live. and if you gay and your christain doest mean your parents will kickk you out and hate you, not all christians hates gays. just because you have a religion doesent mean you follow or agree with everything it has to offer.

  • @TheMightyMx3 True, because if you believed in everything the bible says, you wouldn't know where you stood on any issues. (i.e. kill the gays, and then it says don't kill)

  • @schooldancedisaster It doesn't say "kill the gays" I think gays should just get a thing LIKE marriage that isn't really marriage. Like a Certificate of Partnership tat allows them to get all the benefits and such things that married couples do. Anyway, yeah.

  • It's God's world and he can do what ever he wants to do in it.

  • This person seems so self-indulgent and arrogant to me. The way he talks, as if he just loves hearing his own voice, speaks wonders about the kind of person he is, i.e. a moron and an idiot.

  • @LeChakaraka Have you ever listened to a preacher?

  • @LeChakaraka He just seem to be lost in a world where there is groups and control people like sheep. For example religion and such. Go get educated and be original!

  • @LeChakaraka Your comment "speaks wonders about the kind of person" you are.

  • He has his view. I say very well.

  • Your so closedminded >.< but wateva believe wqt u want, its ur live but plz dont try to change people its abnoxious. Just sayin (my opinion)

  • Some people believe in certain things, and I'm not disagreeing with you but, you should deal with what some people believe. Because it is going to be around forever.

  • @manchapalmeiras105 I'm sure it wasn't just 'how they act' its not as simple as that to just throw away something as large as religion. It takes alot of rational thinking to abandon the idea of God. Its not really about winning the debate if there is no evidence to support that God is real or not real.

  • kinda hard listening to a floating head...

  • I think you should be worried that you don't have a torso.

  • I really really hope that I don't come off as a Judgemental ass hole. >.< I'm not D;! I'm against everything Christians stand for,... they just stole my God and warped his image.

  • Paul was a false prophet. I think that every religoin, including Atheism, is equal. I don't generally believe in sin, unless you're breaking Human Rights, or the general Moral Code. I don't believe that God , who created everything would condem people for being who they are<3 I consider my self a Christian/wiccan? or Eclectic Christian? Something like that.

Also, Christmas is about spending time with friends and family and appreciating that they are in your life.

  • and on the whole "god doesn't help" >;l in my opinion, i think that god gave us free will. and decided to not interact with the universe. For reasons unknown. I don't have all the answers, I just do what feels right to me! I think that's what everyone should do. I don't talk about my religion openly, because its for me xD If Agnosticism, or Atheism feels right, then by all means <3

  • @Schrammx if atheism is a religion, then off is a tv show.

  • I don't go to church ;P and the bible was written by the people who killed Jesus so why should I believe it? also it has been altered time and time again, and things have been taken our, words changed by power hungry sociopaths. I believe that my God isn't judgemental, Paul is the one in the bible saying that Gay people are wrong, and that witchcraft is wrong and that women should be submissive. Not jesus.

  • I should probably post this in the Religion playlist you have but but but I don't feel like clicking. =.=; But you're against christians but >;l I'm a "christian" I guess. I believe in Jesus and God and that he died on the cross, but I don't believe what the "christian religions" do.

  • @Schrammx Yea i typed this on another video, and then copied it, and forgot to erase the first part.

    muh bad.

  • im christian and respect. i also question this... but. if everyone got what they wanted from god there would be mass chaos. people would kill peopleor get what they dont deserve. all god does is protect others from others.

  • If I had to say what kind of a person you are, it's maybe an anti-hero, Not actually a hero and not actually a villain.

  • If you want to be Atheist, than that's up to you. But don't put others down to chose to believe in God. I am not judging you being Atheist, so stop judging others for being Christians.

  • and also the conffesion both i dont think that is true there is no reason for teh booth if u go bak to that sin

  • hmmmm i dont have any comments but i belive in wat people believe onision if ur reading this its ur choice and i accpet it but if u want u can look up muslims that might change ur mind and u do actually have a point :)

  • I'm so sorry that you had to experience that.

  • If it wasn't for my belief in God and the afterlife, I would have killed myself a long time ago, because there's nothing that makes me want to stay on earth. But I believe that if I live a good life, I'll be awarded for it in the afterlife. Even if God doesn't exist like some say, I'd rather believe in God and have hope, and then die and it be over, than live a horrible life with no hope and nothing to live for.

  • @saiyanblade84 That being said, my "religion" or beliefs or whatever are personal. I would never bring harm to somebody else, or condone others bringing harm to people. Only evil people kill, rape, and take advantage of others.

  • @saiyanblade84 If you think about it, you would've killed yourself not because there was an absence of God but more so the bad upbringing you had. There are many moral and rational people who don't believe in God. You only live once. Regardless of religion, you should try to be optimistic about life. I'm pretty sure it says in the bible that earth is a gift to humans (haha, I think) and yeah.. you should try to see it that way. I am atheist btw, but I understand where you're comin' from.

  • @JiminyNuvuait I don't know if I had a "bad" upbringing, but I turned out alot different than my sisters. I work and sit in my bedroom. That's it. Same thing for 3+ years. My sisters are into drugs and shoplifting and all kinds of stuff. They're the ones with the bad upbringing, if that's the case. I actually turned out to be a decent person, but I just don't see a point in anything. I just work to make money to eat to get energy to work to make money to eat. That's my life. :/

  • I completely agree - I have been brought up in a christian family, and I was even convinced it was true for a while. But all I can see is the evil in it now. Although I'm trapped and have to go to church every week and a bible study every wednesday and friday and saturday (YAY) ...I'm not just going to conform and be the good female I'm supposed to be. I do actually have my own thoughts and I want to have my own life, no matter what the expectations and what people may think ^^

  • He looks like Thomas Dekker here :) just fitter.

  • Here's a hint, stealing lines from the matrix is no the role of the hero...Mr smith

  • you are right.

  • as for all the bad things happening in the world today...... SATAN has been given power and authority over this earth, whether you believe satan exists or not. in fact, satan has a greater grip on those who dont believe he exists because they refuse to see whats going on

  • there are many lies and misconceptions that modern christianity has to offer. the modern church mostly rejects the old testament... and in place of laws, blessings, and curses that the old testament has to offer christians inject DOCTRINE in to the scene. DOCTRINE is ugly. in ephesians 4, 14 to be particular, it compares humanity to babies being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. its a very interesting chapter... it should be very convicting of us christians. right now.

  • UGH SO MANY THINGS NOT BACKED UP!!!!! without the laws of space and time phycologically we would all be a mess and not all christians are closed minded like you say. god gave his only son for our sins, and i beleive what i want to beleive. if i said "what kind of person makes millions of plants suffer?" would it affect you? no, it wouldt

  • You look like a floating head ahahaha ^.^

  • The bible was a book of parables, but people took it literally.

  • I can't stop watching more and more of his videos.

I (for whatever reason) believe in and pray to God, but, at the same time I feel this is the best video Onision has ever made and I truly understand it.

I think this is his purest form, if that makes any sense. This vid is real, it's relaxed, it's his truth and his most accomplished vlog work.

  • @JulieMichelle76 You know i feel like i see Lucifer Right through Onision. As if he's speaking the very same words Satan would. I see Hatred, Confusion, him Lost because he always mentions he doesnt know whats really after Life. But its like in the Back of his Mind God is still there, He knows God is Real but he just doesnt understand Gods Work.

  • @MrfunnyNacho He's agnostic. He doesn't know if God is real or not. If he is, (I'm an Atheist) then God is a total arsehole and he should sort out his priorities.

  • @thedialgafan i know he is, Athiesm is Completely Flawed, Science Leads to the Logical answer that there is a Creator, Dont take me for some Bible Reading Narrow minded fool. I Study Modern Physics Most of the Sciences. Most Scientists Deny the Fact that the only Possible Means of Creation is through a Creator. Cause and then Effect. And then go on to say because they Cant Explain it they try and find another Factor of Creation, Thats like finding another answer to 2+2=4. Its impossible

  • @thedialgafan No matter how far we advance into Technology, The only Way you would be able to find another Factor of Creation would be to Break the Laws of Physics and everything else Science has Established, Because it just Wouldnt Make any sense at all. So Thats where Deist come in, Men like Albert Einstein Who believe that a Creator Does exist but not one who judges on the actions of Humans. Im on the boundary of that because there's just way to many Coincidences to make that Claim.

  • @thedialgafan Now on the Subject of blaming God. If you ever read the passage, God Let Satan the Fallen Angel we should all fear, Come into the World to Tempt Us, Bring us down to his level (Killing, Hatred, Genocide), And then He also Gave us Free will . View Your life and every ones Life as a Constant Test of Faith. Instead of Blaming The Creator, Blame ourselves, Blame Humanity. For being that Evil Douche Bag.

  • @MrfunnyNacho I'm an ahteist, and I do hate humanity for its cruelty. I don't need to be educated on an imaginary man.

  • This video pissed me off so much. I have no words to describe how stupid I think this video is, total BS. There's multiple reasons why all those things happen. I mean I love onisions videos but this one.... Made me cringe. Retard.

  • @iluvdancingurl How is he retarded in this video? There are no scientific facts that God exists and even if he does exist I agree with Greg. Why does God allow rape, murder, pain, suffering, evil, etc? And if it has anything to do with Eve eating an apple off a tree and we are all being punished for an action that Eve did, that we did not do, that's just ridiculous. On top of it all the whole Adam and Eve story sounds like a fairy tale.

  • @Sallyallie89 god trys to let you be free, and make your own decisions. i agree that the adam and eve sounds kinda like a fairy tale. and god was punished not us. im pretty sure you didnt get hung on a cross because of other peoples actons. it was just my opinion thats all :)

  • It amuses me how he knows nothing about what he's talking about. Also, if your asking you self "why do bad thing happen to good people?" we'll, why to good thing happen to bad people?

  • No one belongs in the world, everyone hides inside of a shell of lies and beliefs. No one is good or evil. The evil are the people who choose to believe in something they can't see or behold, this makes them go into violence and murder. Religion ALWAYS equals evil and the comtamenation of the purity that was once mankind. Have a good trip to death. I know I won't.

  • This guy is so arrogant, God sent his very own SON down to earth so that we can have the CHOISE to accept him in our hearts and go to heaven or to go to hell. I do not suffer from loving and worshiping God, I prosper and gain wisdom! And for you to put Christians into one group? Who are you? I am not Catholic I am not Jewish, who by the way were Jesus' own people who betrayed him, I am A CHRISTIAN! I am Baptist! You call me a moron when you probably believe we came from APES! so arrogant.

  • @DefconOneNation We may think humans evolved from apes but you sir think that eve was made from a rib and was convinced to eat an apple off a talking snake... Js

  • @DefconOneNation May you be able to tell me where the proof is that god exists, or could you tell me that the idea of evolution(that is proven) is fake? 'Im just wondering.

  • I hope no one else blame christians for what the catholics did. not all christians are catholics. Catholic teachings a separate froms Christ's, and they are in my opinion just like a cult. Their ways often contradict the Bible.

BTW if your gonna criticize Christians, make sure you know whom you're talking about, Real Christians or Christians by mouth. cuz it's easy to say you're a christian but Hard to become one...

It is to my belief that if you havent met a real any Christian yet.

  • Hm, this one is easy, your brain is working. I know it's painful. Don't think you're broken, you're not broken. If you were you would feel little pain and no disgust. You wouldn't feel much at all.

  • ur a nonbeliever ....almost the whole world is like you ummmmm yeah ur not gonna like wer ur filthy dirty soul is going when it leavs ur flesh behind to wrought in this nasty world

  • Hating Christianity is not villainous.

I dislike Christianity for 2 reasons.

1, they commited genocide to the native, killed soo many people and rape and forced their religion on the native. Slaver enslaved the blacks and forced Christianity on them. Christianity has a lot of Christian terrorist groups. Christianity financially exploit people and much more.

2, Christianity is speciesism, anthropocentric, treats animal as "resource" by saying this stupid slogan "god put animals for our use".

  • Dear Onision, God does not kick his children out of his home, his children choose to leave and turn to the devil. The more you choose to turn away from God the more you fall into the devils trap. I don't know what type of Christian your parents forced you to be, but I'm Catholic and I enjoy it :D

  • Yes Onision you are special you are ONLY one who understands that, yes you are only one who doesn't belong.

Onision you are one of the most arrogant and self obesed humans on youtube, so please stop wasting Internet space by making those pointless vidieos about you self and you own believs.

  • When you work out you feel pain at the end of the pain you get stronger. Suffering yes, is bad however, has a positive end result at times not always but sometimes. The universe balances out in the end.

  • im cristian and i respect your opinion Onision

  • @march221997 its against gods word to comdemn someone to hell

  • This video is wht iv been trying to say all along. I think christianity is just made up by the gov. To reinforce laws n maintain society

  • Everyone has their own beliefs in religion and their own views. I respect all views because who am i to tell someone that what they believe in is wrong? When in truth it is not my place to say. Personally i am catholic but that gives me no such right to tell people that they all need to be catholic and share the same beliefs. But personally, religion is a private matter and should be handled as such. If you have opinions about religion it is best not to talk about it because it can cause fights.

  • God does not pick sides, he just doesn't interfere at all. Everything is our doing. Humans created rape, molestation, ect., not God. He let's us make our own choices and grow as people ON OUR OWN. Our lives are just a test, after all. I mean, that's how I see it.

  • @ClayFacey3dBody uhhhhh well why does "God" allow that to happen? Why does he favor the old creepy mans view, over the innocent little girls view? I'm sure the little girl doesn't want to be raped.

  • @KaylinLovesU Yeah and why would any God allow children to grow up in a home where they live with drugies for parents who beat, starve and rape them?

  • @metroidshroom Because, as stated, even if he exists... "God is a douchebag" :)

  • P.S. I LOVE YOUR VIDS

  • Didn't Humans rape people? Didn't Humans enslave people? Didn't humans allowed billions to people? Humans are given free will! and Humans decide to a abuse this right,NOT GOD! God gave human free will! and human to abuse the fuck out of it! And human misuse the his word U got piss when foxs said you a were con artist. And your saying here that Churches are con artist!
  • This is so true. The thing that pisses me off the most about Christians is how ignorant and close minded they are. They try to force there religion on us, and call us bad people for having other beliefs. We let you have your beliefs, let us have ours. and I don't mean ALL Christians. Stop trying to change us, let us have our beliefs and you can have yours. and all God is; "Obey me and my rules or burn in hell for eternity"

  • @HiatusAlerionHorizon It takes a certain type of personality for a person to shove their beliefs onto someone else. When I used to consider myself a Christian, I felt like I was being attacked from every angle by people telling me I was brainwashed and trying to give me proof there wasn't a God and when they saw that I wasn't going to change, they just started making fun of God and Jesus. I never shoved my beliefs on them. You only see the side you're on. Don't generalize.

  • God said: I love you, do as I say and if you don't, no matter how much I love you, and if you don't believe in me I will damn you to burn for eternity.

    God is a hypocrite.

In the bible Leviticus being gay is a sin.

Leviticus also said no hair cuts, but I guess that's okay to skip right?

  • @inevitablymoze The bible isn't God speaking to us. The bible is a series of books written by humans. Some of those books, particularly the few written by the actual disciples, are more likely to be inspired. There's no reason to trust all of the books that were written by people who had no contact with Jesus. And whether or not you want to trust the disciples is up to you. I'm just saying that the bible isn't one book. It's a lot of books with a lot of different authors.

  • i am catholic, i am not very religious, i didnt really want to make my conformation but my mom forced me, i am confussed with the whole god thing, i understand yourself, but u would prefer u didnt make cunt like remarks about christians, ok? thanks for your time

  • @CheckThis1213 Hey, Catholics and Christians often make it more complicated than it should be. I suggest you read the bible and make your own decisions and believe what you feel in your heart, not what other people tell you is right. I suggest you put aside what you're being forced to believe and just read Matthew and John for now. Then after you read the teachings of Jesus, make your own decision. Religions often unintentionally twist the teachings around and change them.

  • Christmas is about The lord of jesus Christ!

  • People have their own free will that let's them do the crazy things that they do and god has nothing to do with that. I am a christian, I still believe in god, but sometimes when I go to church they say god will answer your prayers, he hasn't answered any of mine. They say he can create miracles but IV never witnessed any. My parents say that Christianity is always right, but what about people from other countries that have their own gods. They probably tell their kids that their " gods" are re

  • @MegaZeldafan13 God does answer your prayers. But, sometimes the answer is "No." I'm sorry. I wish He would help you with every problem you ever have, but sometimes it is necessary for you to solve your own problems for the sake of your own personal growth. It's also necessary for you to suffer in life because life is a trial and a series of tests and you need to understand pain in order to appreciate joy.

  • @TaysieGraves It seems your god says no an awful lot! The fact is that a lot of people do not believe in a god, and I feel that's VERY important for people to realise. When some douche bag preaching on the street tries to hand me a leaflet, I make damn sure he knows I'm very much against him and his religious spewing nonsense. It's not fair on others.

Your god is not my god, nor is it many other's, so in that sense do everyone the favour and don't spread the bull.

  • @skipskops Hello. This was a reply to someone who does believe in God but was worried about the fact that it seems God doesn't answer this person's prayers. It was only meant as a comment made to this specific person. So, please don't act like I said this to you just because you can see it. Believe what you want. I'm truly happy that we all have the choice to believe what we want. I honestly respect your belief, even if I don't agree with it. Please have the same courtesy.

  • @TaysieGraves Well then that's perfectly fair enough, sorry I jumped the cannon!

  • You are such a beautiful person, Greg. ♥ I love you.

  • @Emmaluurvechick I never said that god should forgive ppl for those crimes, i believe that god will punish them like they deserve to be punished.

  • im sticking wit my religion -3- but i still <3 u :D

  • i love you 2 onison :3

  • @frwful im sticking wit my religion but i still <3 you

  • no me gusta.

  • I completely agree with the description..so true x x

  • it looks like hes just a face with a neck xD

  • and my answer to you, onision, is that God doesn't do these things. People do. God allows us to do as we wish, and pay for our crimes in due time. We simply do these terrible things you speak of, then say that God told us to do them, in order to try to justify those actions.

Terrible things happen to those "christians" (80 percent of which, aren't really so) because they do things to themselves. they are too stupid to look at life. Nuff said, I think.

  • @m45t3r594rt4n AGREED! god gave ppl free will for a reason.

  • the description is wrong. People who dwell on God, and just act stupid (which anyone is capable of) those are the ones who suffer and "die". It is as Albert Einstein once said, (and I paraphrase) "Faith without science and knowlage is blind, but science without faith is lonely." (or something like that)

Religion isn't stupid. Really, when you look at it. It's the people who misinterprate what is said, and what is. My stepdad (who is christian) told me, "don't judge Jesus for his Christians."

  • @m45t3r594rt4n My point is that God isn't stupid. He may or may not exist. I don't know. I'm agnostic, so I don't know. You don't either. But God isn't this big, evil thing christians (or mormons, or jews, or muslims, etc...) make him look like. Religion is not stupid. People whose lives are absolutely nothing but what they think is religion, are the stupid ones. Catholic "vows of chastity". wow. why would God tell us not to do something that is imperitive to out survival?

    People are stupid.

  • I hate religion and i don't believe in god because there is no evidence. I put my "faith" on science cause it makes sense. Not on some imaginary asshole who doesn't give a shit about anyone.

  • It depends on how you were raised. No rapist and murderers arent forgiven that fast as you sya. To rape someone or murder someone is one of the worst sins you can do. God gave us free will for a reason. God sees everything and test everywhere at anytime. I believe that every single thing happens for a reason

  • @TheDiosadelamor i was raised as a christian myself, and the further i got myself into this religion, the more i realized how much sense it did not make , how many questions were left unanswered.and if it depends on how you were raised, how come? i thought there was only one god, one word (the bible) im not bashing you . im not bashing your religion, im just curious on how you can say everything happens for a reason , and allow that to compensate for injustice

  • @zacomix Im not Christian so I dont have a clue what the bible states. I think if you have good parents who will teach you how to behave and teach you some morals so you wont get on the wrong path. That is what I meant, im not stating that ppl who believe in god are all awesome ppl. Not to offend anyone i believe that that god will punish those who commit awful crimes and i also believe that god will look out for the ppl who were victims on the other side.

  • look, all you christians that think think that just because someone isn't a christian will go to hell well what ever ya christians people, just except it, only a few people will be christians, other people will have different religions like me being a Taoist.

  • exist but know nothing of what the religion is. they havent been exposed to it just like I havent been exposed to hinduism or buddhism. Are they going to a christian hell?

  • also....what counts as exposure? does it say in the bible that it is a persons responsibility to explore and fully except the religion upon hearing its name (Christianity), otherwise face eternal hell? like lets use a backwards example. I know Hinduism exsists, but ive never been exposed to it. I know nothing about the religion. now if they had the same ideas as Christianity, would I go to their hell? i use the backwards example because people in say India or China know christianity

  • my questions arent multiple choice at all....they are open to you descrptive answer

  • haha horrible answer....if the guy down the street was my guiding force through life and the key to my eternal salvation, chances are id have a pretty good grasp on who he is and what he does.

  • otherwise the majority of his children would go to hell as most people are not christian.

  • @GuitarCrazy87 Not his children, his creation. Only through Jesus and the Holy Spirit are we reborn into his family, as a brother/sister of Christ. Otherwise, you are just a creation.

  • and slring....what did god do for eternity befor he created the earth, light and what not 5000 years ago? when did he develope feelings of love? 6000 years ago? why didnt he create us 5 billion years ago? 9.9ee99999999 years ago? are we his only creation since eternity? where did god learn to be perfect? from his father?...who is? do jews, buhdist, hindus muslims, etc., get pardoned into heaven cause they grew up in an enviornment without exposure to christianity?

  • @GuitarCrazy87 I can't answer that question, for I am not God, and don't know what he does except through his word. It would be the same as asking me what the guy that lives down the street from you does on a daily basis.

Anyone who did not have the opportunity to know Jesus will be pardoned, but most people have the opportunity to learn about him, even those of different religions.

You're trying to give me multiple choice questions, where the true answer isn't listed

  • i read your whole discussion....jakatak i understand your frustration entirely....your 100% right on everything. and based on your example of nature and nurture a can bet this guys parents are christian to. also know, there is no convincing someone who has been brainwashed. but just feel better that religion is slowly decreasing in popularity. i just hope aliens come to shut them up haha.

  • * first sentence should be "killing urself is a sin." sorry...

  • u say "i think christians are just afraid of dying." go tell tht to a true christian and im sure they'll say "to die is to gain." personally im not afraid to die because then i get to see my loving almighty Lord standing in front of me finally. also the Lord gives, and the Lord who gives is just in what he wants to take away. is he not? i recommend u read the book of job. and i will pray for u as u seem to have a false look on God.even though u might be making fun of me i forgive u...God bless

  • @AcaRJacKeR ok, negating the idea of "heaven" are you still willing to honestly die because it is "gaining"? why not kill yourself now? you see this whole idea of heaven seems more of a way of escaping death by promising eternal life in heaven if you're a good boy and does what some book tells you to do, naturally those that fear death and are gullible will do what that book says no?

  • @jakatak1134 "Why not kill yourself now"

Because taking your own life is a sin. God gave it to you, it is precious. Use it while you can, before you go to either heaven or hell.

  • @slRing127 and if god truly loves us how could he possibly send any one of us to this hell? it sounds like this "god" is an uneducated psychopath because along with having no understanding that we "his creations" behave directly according to our environment's he claims to love us but after we die he gives us no chance to repent and throws us in this pit of fire to burn forever. if he was real he would be a hypocritical tyrant with psychopathic tendencies, why do you serve him??

  • @jakatak1134 You have 80+ years to repent. Your living in them right now.

As for him loving us, yes he does. It's just like a parent and their child. If the child disobeys, we get punished. And humanity as a whole has been disobedient throughout its entire existence. As the saying goes, the best way to learn is through experience. That's why he allows these things to happen.

  • @slRing127 do i have 80+ years? so i guess theres no chance i'll get hit by a bus or something before then right? and if i did would i go to hell? and only stupid shitty parents punish their children if they are disobedient, real parents teach their children why it is important to do what they say. this god is an idiot and there is no way that he could have created me along with many others because we are greater than him. he is a fairy tale for people scared of death and the world

  • @jakatak1134 And it comes down to this again. Why is it that I can never have a civil argument with an atheist before they turn to mudslinging?

Shitty parents try and 'talk' to their kids when they do something wrong. Do cops 'talk' to criminals, to stop that murder? No, and neither should parents. It's the lack of corporal punishment in our society that's turning this generation into what it is.

Another point, you preach about freedom, yet belittle God about giving us freedom.

  • @slRing127 ok first i'm not belittling god i'm dismissing him entirely, he's not real, there is no evidence to support this phenomenon it's just popular and therefore has influence on gullible people. second you need to understand how people work before you say they need punishing, you need to understand that people are all products of their environments and there is no such thing as good or evil, answer me this, is it evil to enslave a man?

  • @jakatak1134 It depends on the scenario. Is it evil to put a man in jail or prison for their actions? If you consider that enslavement, then yes, it is okay.

Exactly, people are products of their environment. If they live in a household where all they get for doing wrong is a talking to, they won't learn anything, which is the basis for my stance on corporal punishment.

There is no evidence to support the existence of a singularity, yet that's the basis of your beliefs.

  • @slRing127 no i'm talking about straight up domestic slavery, is that evil? and ok, say the parents were bad teachers and the kid learned nothing and grew up to be a murderer because he had terrible parents that didn't teach him well, will that man go to hell? he shouldn't! he was produced to not know better! it wasn't his fault it was just who his environment molded him to be! do you understand this? and we see this all the time in places like africa where it's kill to survive

  • @jakatak1134 They still have the option to change. Look at all the rags to riches stories around. People can change, but they shouldn't have to. Their home life should have built them up into a productive member of society.

However, should that person never have had a chance to learn about god, they are pardoned, the same way an infant who died would be pardoned.

Slavery is wrong, indentured servitude is not.

  • @slRing127 rags to riches is irrelevent i'm not talking about money here i'm talking about changes in motive and since motive is ultimately determined by environment it is unjust to judge anyone based on their motives/behaviors/beliefs, instead you must educate them, god does not do this however, he takes the path of an ignoramus and judges rather than educates, that is why he is a tyrant. and if slavery is wrong or in this case "evil" then was george washington evil? he had many

  • @jakatak1134 My point being that people can still rise above their upbringing. You can't blame society for the way you act.

And who's to say God doesn't try to help you? You don't have to physically see anything to receive help.

Yes, he was in the wrong, but that was a different time period. You also have to take into account that Africans themselves would sell off their own kind to the slavers. There were many in the wrong back then. That's why change occurred.

  • @slRing127 society is all that there is to blame for how you act, washington is a perfect example, you said it yourself, "but that was a different time period" which implies a different society therefore there were different standards and morals just like in the paleolithic ages when men would kill each other over food, you cant blame them, and there are so many different societies today that you can't justly blame anyone for anything. do you understand? i think you're starting to

  • @jakatak1134 You're contradicting yourself. You said it yourself. It was a standard of society. Well, one of these standards is to not be a criminal. To not murder fellow. You can't not hold people accountable for their actions. Those actions were their choices. Society influences what you act like, but it isn't the 100 percentile. Life experiences and personal choices/development determine who you are as a person, and its your responsibility to mold yourself into a good person.

  • @slRing127 no i am not contradicting myself, the things that mold a person are society and genetics, for instance if your parents were jews you would no doubt be a jew yourself yes? and if your parents were racists and so was everyone around you, you no doubt would be brought up as a racist yourself because there is no way you would know any better yes? and if your parents taught you that it is right to kill people then you would no doubt be a killer too yes?

  • @jakatak1134 No. No, and no. I was brought up in a primarily democratic family. I myself and more conservative. My mother gave me the choice of religion, and never forced me to go to church, yet I am a christian. All of those were choices, and I made them. I made myself who I am.

You seam to doubt the power of the human spirit to overcome obstacles.

  • @slRing127 no not at all, there is no "human spirit" only a brain, what you need to understand, and believe me it's not just you! this is is a global issue! you need to understand that you, just like everybody else, are forged by your experiences and environment in general, no matter how special you think you are that concept is law and you can not escape it. until everybody understands this we will never live in a civilized world, we are all equal but our environments are not.

  • @jakatak1134 I am not saying I am special, you're putting words in my mouth. I'm saying humans have the capacity to be who they want to be. To do what they want to do, no matter what their life experiences are. They have the willpower.

  • @slRing127 and also what do you mean "who's to say god doesn't try to help you" what evidence do you have to base that on? if this god is helping you but it is not at all evident that he is helping you, how could he possibly be helping you? thats a total contradiction, an effect without a cause, and by the way didn't you say that god doesn't help people? that he lets them learn by experience (much like a negligent parent no?)

  • @jakatak1134 There can indeed be a cause, just not a visible one. Similar to dark matter. We know it's there, because there's no other way that certain things could happen.

I said society as a whole. He doesn't make the world a utopia because he gives us freedom. It is us having freedoms to do what we want that makes the world what it is today. It goes back to the age old parable. Safety vs Freedom.

  • @jakatak1134 if i killing urself is a sin. also u say "those that are gullible do what the book says no?" yes we do wht our book says but we arent gullible. we have conviction from the Holy Spirit telling us what is sin and that the bible is the word of God. in the other comment u posted u said that God is a "psychopath." yet if u were to actually read the OT ud realize he killed people for JUST REASONS. it seems ur mad that he can punish us because he knows the evil we commit.

  • @AcaRJacKeR unless you question your influences you are always gullible and it doesn't seem that you are even thinking about questioning the bible, maybe its because you are afraid of the fact that its all superstition, i don't know maybe you can tell me why you follow it so blindly. also i'm not mad but frustrated that i live in a society where the majority of people still think that there is such a thing as "evil" not to mention how much superstition still plays into our society...

  • k so god created everything 5000 years ago or whatever it is. can a knowledgable christian please let me know what god did for eternity before 5000 years ago? are we his random spontaneous experiment or something?? please. id love to hear this

  • @GuitarCrazy87 i... i think i love you. i now got an anti christian defense :D you good sir, are truly awesome.

  • So true. So real.

  • You're just speaking the truth. Don't listen to others wrong opinions.

  • awesome.

  • i think you might b generalzing all christians. there might be a god maybe not. most christians arent evil ignorant hateful people. blaming god for everything is incorrect, its people that do all these things. and also many people need religion as a pillar for them. to give them something to believe in. also i'm catholic. i pray that tomorrow will be better than today. i love reading harry potter and i have close gay friends.

all people are different! some people need a god to lean on!
