go to video copilot, all the blood effects where taken from their Riot Gear and Evolution set. Check there, its where everyone else copy's their after effects work from....

The font is Centruy Gothic and Helvetica Light, and i think the skyline might even be from Go Media.

Nice one for making the skyline yourself, but in future i recommend making your own flourish effects and blood splatters, as you can spot the Riot Gear stuff a mile off. It will add so much more to your work and give it a bit more personality and stand out more.

I also recommend sticking to one font too, when two fonts look similar like the two you use it can look uncomfortable.

Good motion graphics work though, keep it up!

The thing about using Riot Gear and Evolution is that everyone watching who doesn't know VideoCopilot doesn't know that they're from something. I don't think the fact that I used them makes it any worse than it would have been with my own.

Its true, people who arn't into design can't tell the difference, but its not them that are watching your video's, its other designers. I mean by all means use Riot Gear and Evolution, hell i use them too! Just making your own elements for your design would just add more originality to it, rather than it blending in with the other AE work on YouTube.

Very good work - great timing and use of effects. I have two questions if you don't mind. I'm a noob- are you using a specific expression to get the smooth camera moves? I can't get that with wiggle - Also are you using an expression for the bounce effect in transitions? Or did you use existing effects in AE?

Brilliant. Synchronization was spot-on, and you used the now-overused VCP Plugins in a very original way, which kept it fresh.

You fit the theme perfectly. Overall, this is probably one of the better, possibly best typography works I've seen over the past year.

Awesome, you should submit this to the studio that makes Dexter, or a channel that airs it. I can see this on tv during a commercial break, it really draws you in because there's so many questions to be answered.
