This was an amazing cover! But...you really need a floating bridge (Ibanez EDGE or a Floyd Rose, etc.) To really get the signature "Satch Whammy Scream" Sweeping the pinch harmonics on the G and B strings.and manipulating the whammy with the left hand to get that layered resonance in the scream is critical. Not that I'm criticizing Jack. He is a true master of the instrument with out a doubt and love all his covers and original songs. I wish he would produce a real album. I would buy it!!

I love the lead part you play but the acoustic part on the backing tape just sounds God awful. If I were you I would just play the part yourself on a good acoustic, loop it and mix that in. I couldnt help but hear that the whole time. Drove me nuts haha. Your playing was damn good, but I suggest using a guitar with humbuckers for this. That guitar is just too shrill and bright for this song.

@andrew29371 its a cool little experiment to do. turn your amp up pretty loud when it starts to get feedback. leave it there, hold a note until it starts to feedback. then move in different spots, and it makes different noises with the same note. its very cool.
