People don't give 9mm's enough credit why would cops and soldiers use them if they weren't powerful enough to stop a person. I know that they aren't the most powerful rounds but they are effective and, kirant, you my friend are a Dumbass. this thing puts rounds down range faster than a semi-auto pistol. As the guy did in this video did you can be very effective using a burst of bullets for multiple targets. Now when there is only one target a mag dump will work fine.

Care to do the math? A person, on average, can throw stuff at a maximum of 67 miles/hour, or 30 m/s. A GLOCK pistol has the weight of 2.2 kg. The Force of getting hit by a pistol then is ~1000 N. The force required to knock someone out is ~900 Newtons or so. So, there is a basis behind the theory. It wasn't me who said it, but soldiers.
