macbook isnt good lol.. it has ALOT of glitches.. i bought 1 last week. returned it 2 days later for being a PIECE OF SHIT!

You can get a TZ for under $2K. And it looks better than the Thinkpad and comes with a true widescreen (16x9) aspect ratio screen, one of the very few laptops that come with one. Don't forget this is only 11.1" screen so it's not meant to be very powerful. It's meant to give you great battery life too.

Macbook air is a gimmick. It's just thin, but you buy an ultraportable so it doesn't take up much space on your desk or on the train or wherever you're working. You don't buy a laptop to say 'Hey look, it goes in an envelope!'
