Ha, that cracked me up too. And she says something absurd like "Here, take this pen" to try and make it sound important. Lots of subtle and sophisticated humor in that movie, especially for a teen flick.

Tybalt that was amazing, it brought a warm glow of recognition to my cheeks because it was a standout gesture of vintage cameron crowe. A good friend of mine [lenkaclayton - dot - DE] makes similar films, you would like them.. after 2 minutes 14 seconds though, i had to stop the vid due to phil collins exposure.. x
