  • Whichever way you look at this, if Nokia were to use all the patended stuff in their phones no one would want them, these things aren't the reason people buy iPhones, people buy iPhones because they are the best, the prettiest and the fastest, as well as the easiest to use. No one remembers Nokia phones anymore, everyone remembers iPhones. Apple may not have the patent on these things but they sure as hell would be pointless without Apple!

  • Nokia is garbage

  • my friend was kicked out of the microsoft store for using his ipad in their store.

  • Dr evil-Austin powers

    100 million dollars

  • Your original intro is epic! Phonage FTW!

  • dammit was wearing a blue shirt while watching this too!!!

  • So this is how it all began!

  • When I saw the Microsoft Store, I also said "Wooooow!" FAIL.

  • hey jon , i think this is your best episode yet because your actually serious without the clowning =).But you say this was the 1st ep ?

  • cool im subbin

  • Thanks :)

  • You obviously love Apple, but you're cute so you're forgiven! ;-)

  • I don't like Apple.. lol.

I actually think they are quite a controlling company. The only thing I own from Apple is an iPhone 3G, a USB cord, and a keyboard.. and some stickers (if that counts).

Whereas.. I own thousands of dollars worth of Nokia stuff :P.

I don't really consider myself biased towards any company or brand. I just report that I see as well as express my opinions :).

  • True, true.... I saw all your videos now. You're just trying to help Nokia get better! Nice!!! :-) Btw, one of the reasons to subscribe was your great design abilities. Love your work!!! The T7 logo is gorgeous. It can be read "JON" as well. Sleek! ;-) What else... Oh yeah, why is that Chinese traditional music in the begging of your new videos? In several videos there's also references to China... What is the significance of that?

  • *I meant older videos

  • @tehkseven IMO the controlling part is their bussiness enabler, personally I belive both Nokia and Android will fail if they don't apply more controll, especially on their Appstore equvalents. OVI just sux, echanged my Nokia a month ago for an iPhone4. The iPhone beats any Nokia any day.

But there's things to improve on that one too. Nokia not controlling enough, Apple controlling too much.

  • Also to the maker. "Why did Nokia wait?". They haven't. They have been trying to co-operate with Apple for long now. Apple didn't

  • Ahhh okay. Thanks for that update :)

  • @setakakki , Acordingly to Apple they where ready to pay the ordinary fees Nokia has obliged themselves to, but Nokia wanted more aproximitely 3x more plus free usage of Apple patents.

Well let the court begin, and we find the bigger sinner.

  • I do think it's fair that they are suing because they've spent a lot of money researching those technologies. Every other phone company has given them the credit for it, Apple should too. Although I was surprised to find out that Nokia has patents to all of those things.

  • It's not the leading Phone selling company for nothing

  • @setakakki If you known Nokia in the -80s and -90, You know that its orignaly a rubber company, making rubber boots and car tires for nordic markets. That is now chopped of into a company called nokian. Finnish for "owned by Nokia". Nokia NMT and GSM phones was the best around in europe, USA still in stoneage. Asia (read Japan) rumors says they where way more advanced, but have no clue. But that was 2 decades ago, it's 2010 now and Nokia has not enterd.

  • @imPHOreal , well fair if it where for Apple not willing to pay up. But the intrigue is deeper than that.
