STFU IM DRIVING!!! like really that cop driving is very well trained you dnt hvae to tell him when to slow down and turned. they have to go throught this course called EVOC. my dad did it i watch him pretty cool actually.
We've been using the standard & long wheels base variants of this car (Holden Commodore) for the past 6 years sense the VE was introduced back in 2006.
These "Chevrolet Caprice's" are actuallyHolden Commodore Caprice's. The US police force has decided to import approx 70,000 units over the first 3 years. The reason they chose the Holden apart from the Crown Vic going out of production is that it is cheaper to import that to R&D a new car suitable for cops. The Caprice has a longer wheel base and is available in V6 and V8 models both hi horsepower.
This is a Holden Statesman (Australia) sedan. GM was selling its mainstream variant, the Holden Commodore, for a performance division until Obama seized GM to pay for his Blue Oval Kickback. The Statesman and Commodore also base the Camaro.
I never thought the Caprice would be better than the Impala and the Impala SS. GM is fucking Retarded just kill the last W-body already, which is the impala and go back to your roots and bring us a Impala SS on the new Caprice platform and a civilian model.
@guitfiddledave a dressed up impala? that's how i know you don't know your GM cars very well. They're not even on the same platform...one's FWD, one's RWD to being with...why don't you do a little more research bud.

Holden Caprice actually..
But great cars, should just use SS Commodores.

I think they use the Caprice because of the weight distribution. Bit different to the SS,
I think the Caprice will do really well in the US as the car.

@PublicSafetyNSW000 lol, same thing...it's all the same company, holden, chevy, all GM

I think this car would sell 10x as many units as the Camaro. Chevy are fools if they don't offer A civilian version of this car.

@BimmerM5e39 The Caprice is a "Dressed-up" Impala. An upgraded trim package NOT a downgrade.

I might not like that center mount shifter but you can't beat the sound of a Vortec 6.0 VMax sound!
