  • THE YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS! it's not posible to forget that song!

  • could you fire them i mean they look like theyre in good condition

  • How the hell did you run into a Hopkins & Allen revolver of such vintage?! Also, where did you find that old .32 cal ammo? What year is that ammo dated? 20's? 30's? Very jealous of your collection. Keep the vids coming, man. Very well done.

  • @TheMacMan35 The H&A Revolver was my grandfathers and was given to him by a retired policewoman about 60 years ago who carried it as her backup gun on duty. Not sure on the vintage of the ammo, but it is very old (obviously) and was also given with the gun by the policewoman. Has not been fired since it was given to my grandfather. Thanks for the comments. I have about twice as many guns now as when I made this video, so I really should make another. Comments like yours motivate me to do that.

  • how much did u pay for the l42a1 sniper rifle i would really like to know

  • fucking commie song

  • How much did you get the Lee Enfield for?? Also, very nice collection dude. Especially the black powder colt

  • How much did you get the Lee Enfield for??

  • how do u start a gun collection

  • @ThePaintba112 buy guns..... but check your local laws and get a firearms i.d. if you need one. and see if the guns you want are legal

  • dude whats that Soviet song? I really want it! :D

  • Nice collection I'm a huge fan of the 1851 Colt Navy.

  • i would buy that mosin nagant from you :)

  • @TheKILLAHUNT What is Dunhams? I assume some sort of large sporting goods store? Anyways I have many more rifles now than are in the video including an M1 Garand and M1 Carbine. I ought to make a new video to highlight the new additions to the collection.

  • I love my and more yours. Old guns to own are the best because I enjoy the history they have. Like I have a 140 year old breech loader double barrel shotgun by WW Greener

  • @DrShakalu619 Each firearm does have its own unique history. It's fun to speculate at what events they have seen in their past.

  • @donlugohs I couldnt have said it better myself

  • Vrey nice. You cannot beat the 24/47 for accuracy.

  • ya It really is time to take these old ladies out. Isnt it?

  • Where did you find the silver-tip 7.62X54R ammo? Thats hard to find these days and it's wonderful ammunition.

  • @clubredsilvia I got it a while back from JG Sales in AZ. I don't know if they still have it but back when I got it it was about $70 per 800rd crate. Naturally I got many crates at that price :)

  • All I can say is wow beautiful collection love 1851 colt I can't belive that you have a real one thier incredibly rare

  • you gotta give it to the krauts for an awesome rifle such as the kar 98k its visually and mechanically orgasmic. the sks also is an awesome rifle. nice collection i have u a 5

  • i love how you used a pencil sharpener to prop the guns on

  • Nice gun collection

i like the German Mauser K98k

but the Enfield is also accurate

  • fantastic! like the british one!

  • Nice gun collection

  • NICE nagat. the pride of russia in ww2

  • Saludos desde España,una muy buena coleccion de carabinas y rifles, vamos la envidia de cualquier coleccionista, ademas tienes peines, cajas y elementos de limpieza originales, muy bien coleccionado.

  • I have a 1943 german k98k

  • I have a 1939, a 1941, and a 1944. My favorite is the 1939 (all numbers matching) because it has the best fit and finish, surprise surprise. The original blueing is very glossy and smooth, all the parts are polished well, and everything works like butter.

  • Really nice collection,

I like how you put in appropriate music to go with the firearm.

  • the black powder pistol is a real one? i mean made in the 1800s?because look like mine ,,but i got it in cabelas,,i mean is a replica,,,a knockoff?

  • Did you read the caption about the 1851? It answers your question. It is a real, genuine Colt, not a foreign-made knockoff like the one you have.

  • You need an M1 my friend, but your doing pretty well for just over a year. How did you get all that money.

  • I have two M1s at the moment. See other video. Thanks for the compliment.

  • i have a 1943 enfield .303

  • i love the music

  • I had a Hopkins and Allen .32 ,5 shot revolver just like the one here,Wish now I never sold it so long ago.....

  • nice sks

  • not to sound like a smart ass but back in the war, the soviet union wasn't what it was called. it was called russia. from post wwii to about 1993, it was called the soviet union

  • Glad you don't want to sound like a smartass, because you're wrong. Russia adopted the name Union of Soviet Socialist Republics or USSR (CCCP in Russian) in 1922. This was when the Transcaucasian countries, Belarus, and the Ukraine joined the Russians to form the Soviet Union.

  • is it real?

  • Gee, I don't know.

  • NICE!! i just bought a Russian PPsH41 sub machine gun

  • Thanks. I've seen those for sale, how many of the original parts do they use? I've heard they use new production receivers and bbls, but do they use any other new production parts? Good stuff.

  • well i dont know as they arent aloud to work over here in the UK

  • Oh, didn't know you were from the UK or I would know it was demil'd. Probably has all the original parts then, I'd assume. Over here in the US, you can get a PPSh but to make it legal it needs to have a certain number of US made parts on it, plus the barrel has to be 16", so they put new US made semi-auto only receivers on them and new barrels. You can also buy MG42s, RPDs, and other machineguns made to be semi auto only.

  • or you can get about 20 grand,a class 3,some ammunition and your ready to rock and roll lol

  • True. I've seen class 3 PPShs for sale for under 5k but I think you might need the other 15k for the ammo :-D

  • lol 20 grand i was talking about mg42s and rpds

in a gunshop where my muzzleloader's scope got set up for hunting they had a 1928 thompson with a drum mag for 11 grand

  • Yeah but I've also seen 1918A2 BARs for 20 grand, and a few Stürmgewehrs as well. Some of those prices are absolutely rediculous.

  • really i own a never issued 1951 SKS

  • ha u shood move to the us u blimey bloody brit

  • Nice gun collection. How much did it all cost?

  • Comment removed

  • Google.

  • 5 *****

  • NICE GUNS COLLECTION. ALSO WITH THE NATIONAL HYMNS FROM THE DIFFERENTS COUNTRIES IS VERY COOL & ADDS A LOT OF COLOR TOT HE PRESENTAION OF THE VIDEO. I HAVE THE YUGO SKS & an ENFIELD #4 MARK I. VERY DEPENDABLE RIFLES & I SHOOT THEM WEEKLY/MONTHLY.

  • At 1:01, my mind is so corrupted by years of Ren and Stimpy that everytime I hear "God Save the Queen" I start singing "Our country reeks of trees..."

    Great, simple vid.

  • lol the royal kilted Canadian yaksmen

  • Thank you. The Yugo 24/47 is NOT an M48, however. The M48 was based on the K98 and had a turn-down bolt handle, for instance. Mine is a 24/47. I know the Yugos called their SKSs the PAP, but the more common "international" name, especially in the U.S., is the M59/66 SKS.

  • what song did you use for the mosin nagant?

  • USSR national anthem (in English, obviously).

  • very nice, maybe you can help my identify mine....i am positive it is a german k98 because the receiver goes all the way up to the rear sight , but it has an unknown crest on the top and on the left it says "preduzece 44"....which i think is also on the yugo m48's. You can also see old serial numbers that have either been stamped over or crossed out. Is there such this as a yugo capture k98? That is what i can assume from mine, but i am not sure. Thanks

  • Sounds like it may be, and yes, the Yugos did use captured Mausers as their own. I would check for obscure waffenamts on the receiver or barrel (other parts may or may not be yugoslavian). A lot of times the German barrels will have stampings underneath right in front of the receiver hidden by the stock. For instance my 1941 bcd K98 has markings that identify the subcontractor who made the barrel, its date, and 3x WaA13 stamps. Finding some of these markings may help you.

  • very nice collection, i envy you! :) my K98 is my favorite out of MY whole collection.

  • Thanks. It's hard for me to pick a favorite, but it's probably the Garand; however, the K98s are very nice. Since this video, I've gotten two more. One is a "27" code ERMA 1939 mfg, vet bringback all #s matching (even the screws). There is a lot more of a difference between the matching and R/C K98s than I would have thought. The ERMA works smooth as butter and the first time I shot it, I hit a 2x2' square target at 600 yards on the 4th shot.

  • the lee enfeild is the best man i love shooting it

  • very good video...thanks...the lee enfeld with low feed magazine cartridge is very good

  • i take it you like bolt action ;p

  • I like WWII-era rifles, and most happen to be bolt action. I do have a few semi automatics including the M1 Garand and M1 Carbine, plus some others.

  • Wish I could say the same about 8mm surplus. It's still made, but in small numbers.

Paki ammo isn't bad at all, but the hang fire sucks. But not for most it shoots perfect. Well it makes no sense to avoid it, since 1/2 of the shit ignorant whites buy are made by Asians or Indians.

  • British made .303 is the best. I have a few crates (couple thousand rounds) of 1942 vintage English made .303 Mk.VII Ball and it shoots GREAT, never had a single misfire or hangfire, and it is clean and accurate. Also a big fan of the Pyrkal Greek .30-06 which I have a few thousand rounds of, shoots a lot hotter than commercial loads and is also reloadable. Romanian 8mm is pretty crappy though, but I got 2,400 rounds for $110 in sealed cans in crates so I can't complain!

  • The good thing about Pakistani ammo is that it's CHEAP. I have WW2 British ammo too, shoots great. I like the Korean .30-06 surplus rounds, they shoot great. I'd say the best 8mm ammo is the Turkish kind.

  • OOOH-AH!!!

Best thing about .30-06 surplus is, they STILL make it in factories, same with .303 in some cases. (Pakistan!!!!)

  • I gotta pay off an Eddystone though.

    Buy surplus ammo!!

  • An Airsoft Mosin Nagant 91/30 is about $900 on redwolfairsoft. I could buy 9 REAL ones for that much.

  • Doesn't make any sense, eh?

  • The 91/30 and M38 were relatively inexpensive but the M44 is all original, numbers matching, not refinished, even the stock matches.

  • nice video

  • These are replica guns off WW2 Guns Website correct?

  • Wow...that's sad.

  • Hey how much did u pay for the No4 MK1? im looing for anugly one or an already sporterized one thay i can... well sporterize

  • It's been a while so I don't remember. If you want an ugly one, though, it would be cheaper. Right now theyre going for about 150-170. Do you have a C&R? If so it would make getting one in rough shape for a good price a bit easier.

  • Great rifles. And the music just made it that much better! :)

  • got same kind of guns lol

  • dude u must have spent a fortune

  • The carbine and garand were by far the most expensive, close to $3,000 between the two. Aside from the carbine, since this video was made I've also got 2 more K98ks, a 1941 BCD and a 1939 27 (ERMA) which is non RC, all numbers matching, vet bringback. It's not cheap, but most everything in the collection should hold its value for the time being and then increase in the years to come.

  • did you get your guns off WW2 guns

  • Be more specific? Not sure what you're trying to ask.

  • Great video.

  • nice original ammo

    mccallion

  • where did u find German 8mm? it actually looks like Turkish 8mm.

  • I got Nazi 8mm from a gunstore that had acquired a large quantity of original matching headstamps ammo from an estate. They even had it in original 500 round cases but wanted a LOT of money. I have it in brass and Lackierte Huelsen (laquered steel case) in both standard rifle and MG load, all sS (schweres Spitzgeschoss - Heavy Pointed Bullet i.e. 196 grain) Headstamps match the labels too. Turks probably got German 8mm tooling postwar.

  • I actually looked back at the video and it probably is some turkish stuff on the stripper clips seeing as the round is cupronickel jacketed rather than copper as the german rounds are copper. I dont open the ammo boxes much as the cardboard is 70 years old now and i dont want to tear it when it is in mint condition. You can see the labels are German WWII on the boxes. I guess you will have to take my word there are rounds in the boxes. :D

  • I'd be careful if you wanted to shoot the MG rounds, I've heard they combust at higher pressures then rifle rounds. Nice rifles though! I've got the M44, M91/30, No4 Mk1, and Kar98k and I enjoy those very much but would like to get an SKS some time. How is it? Also how's the Garand? That's my next one, probably from the CMP.

  • I do not shoot any of the origianl German WWII ammo. It's all in perfect condition boxes which are pretty scarce. The SKS is fun, especially with the muzzle brake. Not much recoil at all. Ammo is relatively cheap. The Garand is in a class of its own. Shoots straight and true and has wonderful balance and triggerpull. Both the Garand and Carbine are fun to shoot and look at.

  • that 5 shot revolver looks like one of my ancient (lol) S&W revolver

  • An original Colt Navy ? How much is that worth ?

  • Yes it is a real colt 1851 navy, not an italian knockoff which are common. It has also never been fired and the finish is 100%. Don't know what it's worth but probably a lot.

  • looks to me like u love your mosins

  • nice colection

  • First I must say it looks a like a fun collection. The histories are fun to look into. 2nd the 303 has been used for many years up here for hunting. It's a good round...

  • The .303 is such a large long round. Why isn't it more popular as a hunting rifle?

  • Probably not as popular as it could be because to my knowledge only military rifles were ever chambered to .303 british. It is a potent round though, similar ballistically to7.62x54R, but not as potent as the .30-06. The scoped Enfield you see in the video has been on a deer hunt before and has taken down a deer and you're right, the .303 can take down large game quite easily.

  • Yes, SKS 59/66 is the Russian designation for that model, although the Yugoslavians themselves didn't refer to them as SKS rifles. This one was acquired in the United States as a Yugo export, was still in the military crate with cosmoline grease and all the military accessories with it. The Yugos kept them in case they were suddenly needed for a war, but recently have exported many.

  • Nice touch having their national anthems. Don't believe I've ever heard the Yugo one!

  • You know of course, that you're full of crap?

  • sweet ...a lot of WWII rifles

  • Beautiful collection. I too am a collector, but a junior one at that. Fifteen y/o and I already have a 91/30 Mosin, Yugo SKS w/ Grenade attachments, and a No. 4 Enfield.

  • Lee enfield is awesome

  • I will move to US when I finished 18

  • :( why in my sick country guns can be legal like in us,why i born in poland:(

  • Well, in the future if enough people like yourself get together I'm sure you can find ways to restore firearm ownership in Poland. Government is born of the will of the people. Education and information can potentially change the will of the people and hence change the policy of government. Just do your best to educate others about firearms and maybe things will eventually change. Greetings from the U.S.

  • Had to feel proud when I heard English National Anthem :>

  • I have a tear in my eye...

    Guns = freedom.

  • Great collection. I've got a couple of those guns. Gary James would love this video.

  • my fave guns ever are: m24 and L96 XD l96 most

  • nice collection:)

What would you say is more accurate, the enfield or mauser?

  • The SMLE can put down half inch groups at 100 yards, but I havn't shot my dot K98k at those distances yet (it has a mint bore, so should be interesting.)

  • I have that same exact powder flask...weird! :)

  • What is your favorite gun out of your collection, out of every gun

  • My favorite firearm is probably my M1 Garand, it is in such amazing condition and is just a great piece of American history. Close second is my Carbine, again it's in astounding condition and a great piece of history. I think you can see a trend...the American weapons are my favorite. For foreign weapons, I've become quite fond of my K98ks. There are so many flavors of those, they are a veritable collector's dream.

  • 1903 Springfield! You know the UN is having their small arms summit all this week in New York. They want to take away our Second Amendment via international treaty.

  • got a question, about your Lee Enfield No. 4 does it have the early sights that flip up with the ladder or spring catch style.

  • Its rear sight is a flip military aperture sight set to 300 and 600 yards, with a spring-powered plunger acting as the "catch." There is no 'ladder' sight on it. It's easy and fun to shoot, but i prefer the No.1 Rifle Mk.III*. It is definitely built with a higher level of craftsmanship and is quite refined...the bolt is incredibly smooth and that Mk.III in the video has put down half inch groups at 100 yards, with 1941 vintange Mk.VII ball.

  • O, i do agree with you on the No.1 Mk.III,

  • Nice collection, I only have a 1941 "C E" K98k and a mint condition 1939 Tula Mosin Nagant, it is original not arsenal refinished.

  • Thanks :) My M44 was actually unissued (a great find) and the others are rearsenaled in nice mechanical shape. My K98ks are dot 1944 (waffenwerke bruenn) and bcd 1941 (Gustloffwerke, Weimar). Just got a sweeeeeet M1 carbine a few weeks ago as well, all original parts on it (extremely, extremely rare) and to top it off, it is in simply amazing (appears unissued) shape. I'll try to make a video of the Carbine sometime here before too terribly long. Keep collecting!

  • nice to here about the M1 Carbine. I've been looking for 1 of my own. Do you think you could tell me where you get your guns from.

  • I got my Garand and Carbine from Orion7 enterprises in long island, new york. He's not cheap, but the owner's and expert and if you have the money, he can get you the best. I got both of my K98ks from classic arms inc in north carolina. He had some primo K98ks a while back, but his current batch doesnt seem too good. Sorry havn't made a carbine video yet, been busy scrounging up parts on ebay for the summer build of the '68 Coronet R/T.

  • good luck on the '68 Coronet R/T. I recently inherited my great uncle's PPK it is originaly a gestapo agents pistol but appears unissued. it is still in it's original Walther box.

  • Thanks. The PPK is a nice compact pistol made for undercover police work. Ahead of its time for the double action, and its design was the foundation for the Walther P38. Take good care of it :)

  • im drooling...

  • Cool gun collection, those russian rifles are so cheap in colorado! they sell for only like 70 bucks, they are great rifles though

  • nice collection! personally im glad there's more than just american weapons in it. like how you did the music with them too.

  • Thank you.

  • I suppose the concept of a mainly WWII gun collection isn't clear to you. I'm afraid the United States did not fight itself in WWII; therefore, it is a necessity to represent the rifles of other countries. Does it make me a "communist" to own K98ks, Lee-Enfields, or Mosin-Nagants? Most any rational collector would guffaw at that insinuation.

  • Don't worry about that stupid bim, bro...I am a veteran and own two SKS rifles, an AK, and a .22 Remington that I first learned to shoot with over 25 years ago...One of the SKS's is over 50 years old, and my pride and joy...I'm confident in my loyalty to my country, as fucked up as it is at times...so kudos to you bro...collect whatever the hell you want as far as the classics...I've either owned and/or played with the majority of them...

  • I have a quick question about your mosin nagant-They dont cost much money but since its a Russian gun wouldnt the ammo be hard to get to because im not sure but i think its Ak-47 ammo that it fires..I am thinking of buying 1 and i just want to know if the ammo is hard to get around to and If it has a big Kick (Recoil). Pleas reply =)

  • Mosin shoots 7.62x54R, 47 is chambered for 7.62x39. You can find both in plentiful supply and cheap. 7.62x54R packs a punch, especially with a heavier round.

  • LindaWSparks, you spoke of "growing up", 'hope that happens to you sometime soon. mabye youll realize that Americans are not more-than-human. and just because you think your country is the best does not mean it actually is. it means your an ignorant, short-sighted twat. no country is the "best" and if you had the mental capabilities of a ten year-old youd realize that.

  • i think it's a feeling of pride when you have the weapons of the country you once defeated in war...much how i have a hitler youth knife...it's a war trophy, another example would be a luger, which was commonly sought out by american troops to bring home

  • You should get a Finnish mosin nagant, much smoother bolt movement. And a heck of a lot more accurate.

  • I can hit a 4 inch target at a few hundred yards with my M38 (counterbored) using iron sights and communist bloc surplus ammo. I have seen the Finnish mosins for sale and they are a bit overpriced in my opinion. Anyways if I want to be rifle match accurate, I shoot my M1 :) I'm not opposed to getting a Finnish mosin, just it will probably happen after I get most everything else I'm interested in.

  • nice my gradpa was a soviet soldier in ww2 he died just 2 weeks ago but he gave me his m38 and a old dp-28 that his friend had he also gave me a german scout uniform wich was for his brother but his brother died at the battel of tula

  • Sorry for your loss.

  • where did u get ur K98 mauser

  • Excellent rendition of Music to Arms well done!

  • my grandpa has a 1903springfield. thing was heavy as crap last time i held it i was about 10.

  • If you think a 1903 is heavy, you'd die holding an M1. They're quite a bit heavier ;)

Make sure your grandpa takes car of that old Springfield and keeps it oiled, they are nice and getting more valuable.

  • hi i was just wondering that yugoslavian mauser look like my german k98 1934 early model.

  • Oh yeah, I was wondering if that Mauser K98 was refurbished because the bluing on the metal and finish on the stock look about 95% or better. Both of mine's bluing is worn off but their stocks are pretty good(with the exception of some shrapnel scratches on the foregrip of one. Get back to me on that if you could.

  • No its not refinished, just a great rifle all around. If you were to see in person, its got the barrel to back it up. Shines so bright hurts your eyes to look down it with a light (literally), lands extremely sharp, hard to tell if ever fired. Stock has original proofs, s/n, and waffen stamps as well which is nice. Blueing probably 98-99%. My other K98s are in almost as good a shape (older 1940 and 41). BBls VG+, blueing prolly 90-95%, all waffens...thanks for your compliments! M1 Carbine soon!

  • Have cleaning rod and sight hood for it too, I didnt have either on at that point because I'd just completely stripped the rifle to oil up the blueing. Looks even nicer with original rod and sight hood. I like all my bolt actions, but the Garand is for sure my favorite, absolutely love it! It's an amazing piece of work.

  • I love Mosin Nagants, you can't go to a gun shop without seeing one, and they're probably the funnest gun to collect(albeit that Enfields are fun to collect as well). Their low price but great history and range of models/years make them awsome. I've already got an M44 and 91/30, Enfield, 2 k98's, a VZ22, and M48 Mitchell. I'd like to buy more Mauser's and Nagants, maybe get some WW1 Mausers and Nagants next. Keep on collecting...BTW nice arsenal :).

  • Whoa, is that first song the USSR national anthem in english? the music sounds like it but i don't know russian so i'm not sure on the lyrics XD Sweet gun collection though, I got the SKS and mosin nagant, though i probebly won't get anymore just because i rather shooting than just collecting.

  • Yep it's the Soviet national anthem in English :) I came across it and thought you guys would appreciate it in a form in which you could understand it. I dunno, but I thought that the songs added a nice touch to the video. Kinda polishes it off.

  • that first gun sells for under $100, im gonna get one. Do you fire yours?

  • I shoot them on occasion, but the answer is yes..I have thousands of rounds for each. They get a thorough cleaning after being fired (corrosive or not)

  • Ah, nice K98. I have one that's a 1942 Dou. Russian capture.

  • Yeah the K98 is nice, I got a few more since I made the video. Lots of character and history in each one.

  • Very nice. Congratulations, especially if it's only the beginning of the collection. Wouldn't you however agree, that the military FMJ ammo would go much better with Mosins than soft points? Cheers.

  • HAHA sorry but you made me laugh! It IS military surplus ammo with the mosins, silver tip, indicating steel penetrator core!!! Genuine communist bloc surplus! All of the ammunition i show in the video is vintage/surplus!!!!!

  • You have a good collection there!!

  • How is the original K98k compare to the Yugo mauser?

How's the bolt and the durability difference between the two?

  • The K98k's stock is a bit more comfortable to hold. Also has a bolt disassembly disc which makes stripping the bolt easy. Action is easier to work with a turn-down bolt than straight bolt. The bolts on the two are similar but not interchangeable. The locking lugs are slightly different, so you can insert the bolts in different rifles, but they don't turn down and lock. Both feed ammo smoothly and consistently.
