This was filmed in "Zavora" Mozambique. There's only one diveoutfitter, not many divers go this way but instead choose for "Tofo". I've visited both places, at both places the diving is brilliant. But tofo is a tourist hotspot with many outfitters. Zavora is the tofo from 30 years ago, with a pristine reef, many manta's whalesharks, humpbackwhales(in season), you name it. Even a great white on occasion. If you have the chance to visit, then do so before it turns into a second tofo!

@13monnik Going in less than 30 days. I have a house in Tofo. I have been visiting Tofo for the last 6 years and still enjoy it allot even though I agree that Tofo is becoming commercial and that the reefs have indeed been deteriorating over the last couple of years. The diveshops are trying to limit boats on certain reefs at certain times and everyone is working together to preserve this resource. Come visit again soon!

The Smalleye stingray is about 3.2 m (10 ft) long & 2.2 m (7.2 ft) wide. So yes it is.

@taylorlautnersbabful Actually Manta rays and sting rays are different species. Manta are the largest rays. Stingray wise, the small eye is the largest, or maybe the amazon fresh water one might be.
