OMG! The most beautiful song ever. It's simplicity and purity in the most true sense of the words in this love song that touches my heart every single time I listen to it.
I finally found out who is actually singing this song in the movie Black Orpheus. He is a singer named Agostinho Dos Santos. I had never heard of him and it seems that he never receives credit for singing this. Man! He sure has a wonderful voice!
One of the most beautiful songs ever from one of the most beautiful films ever! Orfeu touches sensitive hearts! If you haven't seen it don't miss it...!
Emocionante...
So you are quite a music fan! You're right! Japanese have not such a thing. As far as I know we are the only one expert group in the world with east and west instruments equally in one group dealing music with such a deal of seriousness. Thanks god! If we succeed in selling our cd to you, you'll be honored to be the very first overseas export.
I'm not in the music industry. Factory worker. I'm just a music fan. I see how popular jazz has been in Japan. I'm far from a music expert but I don't see much blending of traditional Japanese music and jazz.
When I first was exposed to traditional Korean music a lot of it reminded me of dixieland. Free form, improv, time shifting, implied endings...
No particular reason, actually. I just happened to stumble on this Korean music show and decided to upload clips of performances I like most.
I hope to see a merging of jazz and korean music styles. I believe that of all asian countries, Korea's music traditions have the greatest potential for merging with jazz. Like Brazil in South America, and France in Europe.
So you mean Korea from Asia ?! Thanks for looking that way. Stone Jazz band will do their best to make your hope come ture. What do you do by the way? Something in music industry?
Thank you very much for the clip! I totally agree, this is absolutely my favorite movie. The song is as moving as the time I first heard it. Thank you!
Saw "Orfeo" for the first time last night. What a movie! Great acting, great score, great direction, and most importantly, so genuinely felt.

Haha :p
The movie had poverty, corruption, sex, murder, and electrocution.
I'd like to hear your definition of 'innocence' lol.
