Sheamus was not unaccepted swerve the only two guys shot win Sheamus or Jericho, Orton to obvious since returned before the rumble he was not going to win.
I was the same way, I was like "come on jericho, come on jericho, come on jericho!" when he lost I was like "WTF...??!!" (btw I love Sheamus but it surprised me and made Jericho look bad to be honest. But I forgive the WWE as long as they use Sheamus in a big way.)

I checked from a site. Seemed the reason the WWE had Sheamus as the winner was if "pull a fast one"on the people expecting Jericho to be the obvious winner. So either WWE just trolled us or just straight up told us " F*ck you! "

The Divas match was great for a Divas match. The Cena/Kane match was well done. I'm so glad Cena didn't get the better of Kane. Only disappointment was the cage match. Like you said Henry was not used well. Also the match needed more time but they decided to crush Drew McIntyre instead.
Great Royal Rumble. Bit slow to start with but got better and better. Great seeing Kharma back. Shame Del Rio or Rey Mysterio didn't return. Also I was kinda expecting Triple H to come in. I wanted to see The Undertaker or Brock Lesner but I knew that was very likely. Loved the ending With Sheamus and Jericho. The Punk/Ziggler match was great. I liked all the fasle calls and as Ziggler still hit the Zig Zag after that I think it still made him look credible.
I'm also happy that Daniel Bryan and CM Punk are still the champs! The only thing that was missing from last night's Royal Rumble was a Cena heel turn. But the way Kane was booked last night was totally awesome!

Okay for a Royal Rumble here is my opinion, it's going to be very short:
If this was a regular Royal Rumble event I would say it was pretty damn solid.
For a 25th Anniversary Royal Rumble, it was extremely disappointing. Just saying, after 25 years you think they would make the stage actually look good lol
what's cool about sheamus winning the rumble is that if dbryan wins elim-chamber, it will be a wm27(im going to call it)should-have-happened match where it was going to be the two facing for sheamus's us championship but this time for the whc makes it even better to want to watch

@metalmachine80 yeah in my opinion i think of sheamus as a sort of light heavyweight because he's a big guy but more on muscular than bulk body weight size category but what wwe needs to do is totally convince the crowd he's heel, make him weasel his way through the elim-chamber, and build him up with sheamus where sheamus wins and it leaves us with the "bryan should have cashed his mitb breifcase @wm" feeling.
Although im dissappointed Jericho didn't win, i still loved this rumble, i thought it was better than last years and all the surprise entrants in my opinion just made it more fun. As for all of u geeks complaining about there being no star power, this match didnt need it cuz the right guys got their chance to shine. Sheamus, Miz, Rhodes etc.

I personally found myself a bit dissapointed by the entire PPV i wasnt pleased with the winner of the rumble and the fact that they threw in many random ppl there was no need for Cole, Lawler, and a couple others but i did enjoy seeing Kharma back but apart from Kharma Road Dogg i personally didnt care too much for this PPV and i kinda regret watching the PPV.
Btw, do you realize Sheamus as the Rumble winner basically means he will go to mania to fight for the WHC, and the current champ is D Bryan, if he still has come mania time. We will get the match that DIDN'T make it on the actual Wrestlemania broadcast last year lol

I thought having all 3 announcers in the match was fine. I thought it was funny to hear Cole bitching out King and Booker all night for entering and then he enters himself. It was something different and it was fun.

I found the Royal Rumble match to be very disappointing. 1/4 or so of the participants were commentators or legends. Of the 22 or so who were left, a solid 15 were jobbers. The match was missing the star power we have come to expect from the Rumble.
Cole, Lawler, Booker, Hacksaw, Roaddog, Karma, Santino, Roberto Rodgriguez, Jinder Mahal, All no Chancers, then Kahli, Ezikiel, Foley, J.Gabriel, Epico, Primo, Hunico, you knew werent gonna win - only guys that had a chnace were, Jericho, Orton, Sheamus, Barret, and Big shower after Miz and Rhodes were eliminated, too few real chancer guys in my opinion

most of my predictions did happen in this ppv, bryan retained, punk retained, and i made 5 predictions for the final 4, 4 were superstars and the other was that none of them would fall before 20, and i was right on 4/5, earliest was 22, and the only one that wasnt there that i thought was going to be was wade barrett over the big show, but my pick did not win, jericho was my pick as well

Okay for a Royal Rumble here is my opinion, it's going to be very short:
If this was a regular Royal Rumble event I would say it was pretty damn solid.
For a 25th Anniversary Royal Rumble, it was extremely disappointing. Just saying, after 25 years you think they would make the stage actually look good lol

Although im dissappointed Jericho didn't win, i still loved this rumble, i thought it was better than last years and all the surprise entrants in my opinion just made it more fun. I personally found myself a bit dissapointed by the entire PPV i wasnt pleased with the winner of the rumble and the fact that they threw in many random ppl there was no need for Cole, Lawler, and a couple others but i did enjoy seeing Kharma back but apart from Kharma Road Dogg i personally didnt care too much for this PPV and i kinda regret watching the PPV.

I thought having all 3 announcers in the match was fine. I thought it was funny to hear Cole bitching out King and Booker all night for entering and then he enters himself. It was something different and it was fun.
Also people were complaining this match needed to be 40 man or not enough star power. If they had a 40 man it would have just filled with guys like Tyler Recks, Curt Hawkins and other jobbers. Also they didnt need the star power. They let the young guys shine tonight

I found the Royal Rumble match to be very disappointing. 1/4 or so of the participants were commentators or legends. Of the 22 or so who were left, a solid 15 were jobbers. The match was missing the star power we have come to expect from the Rumble.

most of my predictions did happen in this ppv, bryan retained, punk retained, and i made 5 predictions for the final 4, 4 were superstars and the other was that none of them would fall before 20, and i was right on 4/5, earliest was 22, and the only one that wasnt there that i thought was going to be was wade barrett over the big show, but my pick did not win, jericho was my pick as well

Below average PPV.
- Meh first patch. Henry being injured earlier didn't help the match.
- Meh Diva's match. Kinda different though.
- Rock and Cena's promos being random and taking up way too much time.
- Cena/Kane was okay, though kind of a lame finish.
- Royal Rumble had too many joke entrants. Needed a little more star power as well. 40-man
- Lame Brodus/McIntyre squash match.
- CM Punk vs Dolph Ziggler was the only good match. Agreed with having Ziggler losing so much. Somewhat of a swerve.
