what a dumb question. For eddydepoinvil, the indians had arranged for a different singer to sing but were cancelled on, so beckett's ex's agent (don't remember her name) got her the gig. It was a coincidence.

Josh Beckett is fuckin great. Here's a guy who's one of the top 3-4 pitchers in the game, a great clubhouse guy who stands at the top of the dugout for every game and curses out opponents for disrespecting his teammates, and who dates some of the hottest women in the country. Here, he speaks his mind unapologetically in spite of any potential consequences.
A true leader, and an all-around great guy.
