On PC, as long as you have a decent GPU it'll last, maybe in two years time you won't be able to play the newest games at highest graphics settings, but at least you can play them. Think of this as "forward compatibility", and consoles just CAN'T do that.
With a PC, you can just keep the old CPU and get a new GPU, cheaper.

I'm a PC gamer and have been for many years and I'll tell you right now it's not cheaper. If you want a decent build, it's going to cost you more than a console. In my opinion it's well worth the money if you spend wisely. Don't go drop $2000 on a PC that you saw advertised or one that is pre-built. Cheapest way is to build your own and it's not as hard as some people make it out to be. $1000-$1500 should be your goal if your looking to get a medium/high PC or an extreme build for $2000.
@CrossyCriss Yeah, it's easy to build a rig now that can play Crysis considering it's almost 3 years old, prices have dropped on cards (which back then you'd be paying $400-500 for top of the line cards), and they've had improved drivers to handle the game better, but I guarantee you that you couldn't get a system to run Crysis for under $500 with that kind of framerate on maxed settings. You can snap out of that dream anytime you want.

PC is a better for gaming in most situations, but the console is better when you have company over. You can't have splitscreen on almost any pc game, but theres plenty of splitscreen games for the ps3, wii, and the 360.

Most people do not have 4+ computers, but if you do (which I don't), then yes, a LAN party would be the best choice. Even if I did have 4 computers, I doubt I could get my friends to get on them. They are all devout 360 players :(

Yes pc has easier controls, you can tweak your graphics, user mods, etc.. but the bad thing is you will need to update your system every now and again for the latest games. The bad thing for conoles is that in about 5 - 10 years you will need the next console. This has got my brain working now. Great vid

I don't think it will kill it though. Of course it hurts, but PC games are just as strong as they ever been right now though.

i agree, however, if you look it from a devs point of view. They will have to wiegh up a few thousand copies sold on the pc, with piracy taking the rest. Or a console where piracy is virtually non existant

it cost a lot to upgrade your pc and good games like GTA4 first come out on consoles.
PC you maybe also got achievemennts true games for windows but in steam they use a different system...
the choice is personal but I went for a console, I had more errors also on PC with Windows.

Yes pc has easier controls, you can tweak your graphics, user mods, etc.. but the bad thing is you will need to update your system every now and again for the latest games. The bad thing for conoles is that in about 5 - 10 years you will need the next console. This has got my brain working now. Great vid

xbox 360 still beats out the pc in performance if you were to build a rig that was similar to an xbox 360 premium in price.
the reason being is the OS, windows puts a strain on your hardware using a large portion of its hardware while running games.
consoles on the other hand does not need to deal with a large OS, the entire hardware is dedicated to that one game.
while I am a PC guy, it is hard to say PC's run better than consoles at the same price range.

oops i acidentily removed you're comment, however in response to that, do you have those games on consoles, no. Accept for ff11 wich u have to pay an aditional fee alongside xbl.

It's not as black and white as you put it, a pc is all around harder do play with set up and not every ones pc experience is the same not to mention the vast difference in performance across each persons rig, consoles offer ease uniformity, plus you added a bunch of games that made the 360 seem more expensive

I was not talking about ease of use and anyway its hardly brain surgery to get a pc game to work. Also how can a game on the 360 make it look more expensive when that game will get an equal price hike on the pc. I own both a pc and a 360 and i will agree with you that for a child or a teenager the console is the best bet purely because it is safer and simpler.

I agree with this video. Hella people say that the PC costs way more then an Xbox 360. Not all is true. It may be more expensive if you rig your computer up to state-of-the-art, but if you have a computer good enough to play the game, then its cheaper. ALSO: You dont really need a controller, so you can take that off of the list.(optional)I like playing with the keyboard and mouse

same, but i think it is a credit to the pc that it can use an xbox 360 controller. Where as you cant use a mouse and keyboard on an xbox 360
