I like Public Enemy, but I prefer the version of Pharoahe Monch, it's more topical. For me, PM paid tribute to PE, but also showed that the situation is getting worse and worse...
Dude - I am NOT disrespecting P.E. If anything I am saying I don't like this guy (P.M)'s cover of the ORIGINAL song by Public Enemy - Welcome to the Terror Dome. A good try but this ain't as good as PE. (IMO)
@thegoodmusicguide Me too ... There's a hole in an apple an apple that's been rotten/ scheme like the Klan I plan like Bin Laden. Supreme screen that a slick strict editor/drop the LP many hits like Hezbollah/ Seven years later is the year of the Gods/ The United States Government is just a facade ... not sure if that's exact but I love how he modernized the 2nd verse. Talking about controlling oceans to create Tsunami's to control populations. Get's me pumped up ...
@lenis6 I found this track a litlle bit harder than the one from PE... and I love PE.... I think Pharoahe had a good idea to recall back that track... and to told to us that things are not changed! or they are even worst!
``trigger energies in the ocean for tsunamis to control the population``
Well, I know how he feels about that issue.
One thing though. Am I the only person who feels the first verse is not really saying anything. After reading the lyrics, It is really just a bunch of rhymes not saying anything. It sounds good though the second verse is sick.
Great cover of a cognitive dope joint! If you were of age when this single dropped then you know the true effect it (Fear of a Black Planet) had. This track/video will never be seen on BET or MTV.smh
as underestimated as guys like camp lo and kool keith

Excellent remix of Public Enemy's 1990 hit. I think I prefer this version to be honest.
