do I have to have a special package installed if i'm running enlightenment to get animated wallpapers to work? I have a few edj files and when I try to import them into the wallpaper manager and select them it doesn't work. I am running puppy linux with enlightenment on top. Maybe that could be the issue. I dunno....
@KemmerlingKomputers I know this is probably way late but hopefully it might be useful to someone else.you can manually put them into the folder, just drill down through the /e directory. Some packages just don't work right after 10 years but there are ways to try and repair the files. also make sure compositing moduel is loaded.
Respond to this video... i am playing with it again and I actually downloaded the wallpaper with the buildings that is in this video, this time running budhi linux with e17...still no luck with importing them in. just errors.
@KemmerlingKomputers there should be a wallpapers folder in your ~/e directory that will make them show up in your wallpaper switcher. With Bodhi Linux you can go right to the website with Midori and install the wallpapers through the browser. Also as avengingwatcher said, you need to make sure the compositing module is loaded.
