  • We are having bad raccoon problems here. They climb the fence, unlatch the pen door, go into the duck pen and just kill the ducks, don't eat them, just leave them laying around. Last year one attacked my cat and mega-bucks to the vet later she's o.k. I don't agree with randomly killing and am glad you are giving this one a chance, but these babies can be more than just a pest.

  • raccoons are stupid, they don't recognize freedom when they first see it

  • I myself vote for relocating and releasing these animals, but it doesn't bother me if other people shoot ratcoons, nor would I lose ny sleep if I had to shoot one.

  • Nice to see people dealing with raccoons in a humane way. Not just killing it with joy. Thanks

  • good job letting him live.

  • @limitedplay I just can't kill something that 1 didn't do anything to me and 2 would probably not attack me unless cornered. Whats the point.

  • I think it`s great you dont harm them! Thanks for that! :)

  • Put a stick through the cage dude, to hold it open, 'cause if he gets a hold of you,

getting to the er will be the least of your problems. coons are a problem. that's

why we have Walkers, B+Ts, Red bones, Blue tics, and curs.....

  • he was like siting there looking at them like just let me go their not as smart as humans or not as understanding of us we feel the same way when we get looked up "just let me out" i have a family that comes up to my door and i feed them if am siting out their thy will just come up and eat and sometimes just look over at me and if i stand up thy will look or move away and if i walk to them thy will just run away without making a noise ones where i live are kool and more scared of me then i am

  • im sure if you had creatures 10 times your size youd freak and act just like that raccoon

  • Lol @ the No Trespassing sign.

  • My sister rescues baby raccoons and prepares them to live back in the wild..There very smart and get into everything all I can do is laugh at them tho... there so damn cute ! Ty for having a heart and relesing them back in there enviroment : ) glad to see some good guys .

  • Damn little bandit's you should have smashed it's head

  • @CamoKnights

I would like to smash you! fuckin dickhead

  • kill it

  • @gregff9966 Released it in the mountains. This is what animal regulations told us to do if we caught it.

  • @rompn4x Thats good, at least theres nothing it can destroy in the mountains.

Were are you from? Animal regulations around here tell us its illegal to trap a raccoon and let it loose.

  • @gregff9966 This was in Burbank. They told us to take it about 2 miles from where we trapped it. My buddy works for water and power so they didnt give us any crap.

  • @rompn4x Thats cool, Im not sure what the fine is around here for relocating animals is. Anything like raccoons, skunks, oposum, ect are concidered pest and we are not supposed to let them go.

  • dude all u got 2 do is put a stick about 12 inches long in the trap to hold open the door than just walk away. the animal will walk out.

  • i have the same exact trap

  • first day with a box trap? lmao its not too hard to release anything from them i have the same exact trap. lol

  • they are mean lil shits "Oh theyre soo cute!" BS!!! TOTAL BS! tore apart a pet peacock and chicken, not just livestock, imprinted pet birds...

  • My cat used to get into the coon traps that the city would set up. You should have seen them trying to let that mean motherfucker go.

  • lol i like the wats up hommie

  • i got one in a cage right now, mine seems calm though. im gonna release mine tomorrow. i know they hiss and growl and jump at you but i dont think it going to be as interesting as releasing a skunk.

  • To get one out of a cage trap, I use a brick to hold the door open, not my hand!

  • not very nice to tricking that raccon to comit trespassing..... lol ;)

  • LMAO, i dk why but I cant stop laughin at when the racoon makes the noise and the guy goes " Wtf was that" LMAO this like made my day lol

  • thanks for being human and letting him go.

  • Honey, why would he trap him and not let him go?

  • Some people would just kill them. Thats why ncladyKarol called him humane. Don't call people honey its insulting!

  • Im not disagree with your statement, but why is it insulting to call someone honey??

  • You must be a damn yankee.Southerners call people honey all the time.

  • he is like but i love u

  • lol, "Morning homie"

  • all that was passin through that coons mind was "as soon as they let me go, im gonna bite there ass cheeks off!"

  • That's one nasty raccoon.

  • when i was younger i came across an rabid raccoon. he did'nt bite me. but just stood there stareing.... i knew i was an raccoon but i did'nt know it was rabid...

  • im buying a shotgun i c those motherfuckers every night passing true my yard any one got a better idea send me a massage

  • its fine...those things can survive almost anywhere.

its good to let it go, but more than 40km away or they come back!!

  • halaloa to that ^^

  • Great to see you that you did the stand-up thing! It is easy for some to just kill the pesky creature rather than trap and release it elsewhere.

    You gents have heart!

  • yeah and the fact that raccons dont taste very good

  • WHAAATTT???...coons is good eatin'!

  • ony if yor a hillbilly

  • "Elsewhere" = possibly introducing pest into previously non-infested area

in uk, it is illegal to trap in cages, then re-locate pest in this manner

in our case, the totally destructive, predatory, disease carrying grey squirell, which has decimated our indigenous,

herbivorous Red Squirell almost to extinction

    -be responsible

  • *Growl* What the fudge was that? The little bugger wants a piece of you, literally...

If you have expensive sneakers, then sneak away, or your shoe will die a painful death.

  • those things are agressive

  • You indirectly killed the raccoon by deporting it. The same is done in Genocide, they split up familys, relocate them and those left deserted die of Starvation and Dehydration, no matter what age/experience!

In this case Instinct doesn't prevail.

  • I think you need to look at the Genocide Convention's language. I don't see this word used for anything other than people in that legal definition.

  • you sick man kill the coons

  • lol "no tresspassing"

  • Glad you didn't kill it, but the poor thing is probably so far away from it's home now :( I hope it finds it's way back to it's own real habitat

  • Thank you for not hurting him. They are not pests they live here with us and we move in on them.Thank you so much for letting him go and you were so gentle as well

  • go to stevoatwar and watch my racoon videos

  • Best part was at around 01:35, "What the f*ck was that?" Also, perfect timing with Bonanza.

  • aaaaaaaaaaa you should of killed it they are nothing but a pest they only make a mess

  • geeeez go cry bout it

  • AWE! that's so cool of you guys to not kill it. :)

  • I agree w/ everyone else.. thank you for releasing them... have they been back?

2 miles isnt far.. I have heard they will travel a good 10 miles ( even 20)... in search for food or a mate.

  • No they have not been back but now winter is almost here and thats when they start digging. If so we will just trap and release them again.

  • thank you for not killing it

  • thanks for respecting teh animals =D

  • thanks for letting it go. :)

  • you could tell your fellow americans a very good lesson !

  • I couldn't bring myself to killing it... Neither did my friend why kill it over his lawn.... The animal regulations told us to just release them about 2 miles from his house.

  • ^.^ thank goodness you dont kill them!

  • That is very kind of you !
