The physics engine in Dirt 1 licks balls. The "dirt" roads in the game had more grip than an F1 car on fresh blacktop. Could stop in 20 feet from 100 mph.

Fortunately, the physics in Dirt 2 is completely redone and MUCH more realistic. It's pretty freakin' awesome, in fact. And I'm a long-time RBR veteran, so that's saying quite a bit.

PC version hits stores on 12-9-09! (Demo available now.)

T think the trophy trucks need a lot more suspension travel look at the real trucks when they get air the tires drop like 1 foot or more the game trucs only go down mabey an inch or two when there fully airborne

Actually in-game they look pretty decent. It's just that codemasters intro clip that looks quite bad. I don't know why they didn't make a better or higher resolution dust sprite for that...

If they took the car physics from DiRT & applied them to FUEL...FUEL would actually be playable.

I heard Codemasters was embarrassed by the reception FUEL got. You wont see Codies publishing any "out-of-house" race games for a long time.
