  • 0:25-0:29. Look in her eyes and try not to fall madly in love with this angel.

  • I am annoyed that Trish died, which is very selfish, because I cant have more of this wonderful music.

  • Stunningly beautiful song, awesome band. A sad loss almost one year ago now. RIP Trish.

  • I really just FEEL this song, I can't explain. I keep on repeating it. Thank you Broadcast, RIP Trish!

  • There should be a insanely like button!!!

  • I just found out about this group through stereolab, and I F-ing love them!

Me reading about the band on Wiki: ''using many electronic effects. It was also reminiscent of Stereolab.'' Nice!

''The band's style is a mixture of electronic sounds and Keenan's 1960s-influenced vocals.'' Awesome! I love the 60's.

    Goes on reading...

''Lead singer Trish Keenan died of pneumonia on 14 January 2011 at the age of 42.''

Why must this always happen...? WHY!!!

    R.I.P. Trish <3

  • lovely lady :) i like what she sings

  • I had an earlier post based on a comparison between this and stereolab. Due to her tragic and untimely death I wish to withdraw it. This music will always speak volumes against the mainstream drivel we are subjected to on a daily basis. Rest in peace.

A best friend told me the sad news yesterday - it's very sad.....

it's as bad as it was when Mary Hansen from Stereolab died......:(:(:(:(

    thanks for the music.....

  • I remember reading an interview with Trish Keenan where she mentioned that she noticed that she used the words "let go" a lot in writing lyrics and then thinking about my brother who died of cancer at 48 and the doctor holding his hand in the last half hour and saying: "hard isn't it? letting go" and thinking "she's letting go". She was still alive then. (4 years ago I wrote; "this is the best song ever". I still stand by that)

  • I've just discovered this band, God that's very sad that the lead singer has died. My thougts and prayers go to her family, friends and many fans.

  • one of my platonic loves

    farwell lovely.

  • don't know about all the below, but when I first heard this tune it was one of the clearest memories I have where a singer wasn't just singing a song, it felt more like a conversation with a close friend, whispering an age old and intimate secret, directly to me. Thanks Trish, thanks Broadcast.

  • Very sorry indeed to hear about Trish. My condolences to those who knew her well. I directed this video and she was a model of integrity and grace, during what turned out to be a difficult shoot, edit and aftermath. There was a lot of pressure on the band at the time, piled on from what I can only describe as 'hard-bitten management'.

  • Magical.

  • @LinJapanese -you have excellent taste in music. i love that song too. It's the 60s-ish sound and original lyrical composition of Broadcast that I just adore. America's Boy is a great song too. ...and oh my, Tears in the Typing Pool. Eternal blessings to you Trish.

  • I'm crushed and heart broken.....

  • The songs I had are Withered

    Or vanished clean,

    Yet there are bright tracks

    where I have been,

    And there grow flowers,

    for others delight,

    Think well of the singer,

    For soon comes night.

  • I am so sad to have heard the terrible news. Its not how long one lives that determines how we remember them but how much they achieved and what they left us. I am so sorry to her family who I am sure would have wanted so much more of her living talent. Sleep sweetly.
