I got E90 325i M sport, my first ever BMW and i love it, best car i've owned, but then again i got no point of reference being as i haven't driven any other older bmw models. I think the older ones are looking a bit dated now though.

I agree it's not a CSL, so it weighs the standard 1495kg e46. BUT you can definitely hear that this it has an airbox and different exhaust to a standard e46 so probably knocking out the 355bhp that the cls does anyway. Even so, you can see that the E90 got a bad start. a 30-100 mph comparison would show the e90 win quite easily.

E46 M3 is my favorite car of all time. Its just so gorgeous to look at! BMW really did a nice job on its lines, with just the right amount of flair in the wheel arches and the side vents look fantastic. A nice tight package with 4 pipes out the back. Pure genius. ...And then theres the handling! wow. I can't say I'm a fan of the bile yellow version though. Expensive cars to maintain too. None the less, she's a beauty and a beast!
I never owned an M3. But my 2001 330ci had way better handling and feel than my e92 328. Note, they have the same engine so same power. I miss my 330ci dearly. I wrecked it in a pole. Kids, don't hold in the DSC button.
i prefer e46 ANY DAY but this video was really pointless cause they pretty much tied the whole time. i would love it if it was with a different sport car

Hi gents i think a point is being missed here " speed is nothing without control" you could make a bucket that will be faster than the //m3 with a couple of turbo chargers etc But the "reason d etre" of the //m3 is as a track hound no more. Power to weight is worse, so it takes off about the same but gains when speeds are above the limits :)
My e34 525i can compete with a 535i because it's a little bit lighter but only 20hp short. It's like someones giving the 535i a little push between gearchanges :D

Well.. Always thought the E90 looks better than the E46, but if you both driving together.. in my opinion the E46 looks cooler.. and kind of NOT older.. looks still new.. amazing car.

The E46 is manual. Look at the slalom part his left hand is on top of the wheel and his right hand is no where to be seen.

Was the E46 SMG or Manual? Same with the E92 was it manual or auto?
Good test, as i have had similar results against the E92 coupe, but we got to higher speeds. We were bumper to bumper side to side till his limiter kicked in.

Hi gents i think a point is being missed here " speed is nothing without control" you could make a bucket that will be faster than the //m3 with a couple of turbo chargers etc But the "reason d etre" of the //m3 is as a track hound no more. If speed is what is the issue here then their are loads of cars out there, but for scalpel sharp handling the car for u is //m anyday
