  • awful!! how can you did this!!!????

this song is so beautiful and you've ruined it!

  • Yes. We must don`t be cannibals!

  • =((((((((

  • i cried when she die =(

  • she have the same birth as mine 21 nov. she pretty good haha and very lonely

  • what the hell did she do???

  • Tragic film... interesting version of the song...

  • is this real or not real ??????

  • @oktaditya - Not real, part of a movie called "Dancer in The Dark".

  • @dudecicero do yur homework m8 =)

  • @MRTHATSFAKEANDGAY - And you should correct your spelling, 'cause I have no idea what you're trying to say.

  • And there was much rejoicing ...

  • singing before her death

  • "In a world of shadows, she found the light of life"

  • this is my favorite selma song, too bad it is not on the cd :(

  • "Danser in the Dark"....The Danish Lars Von Trier made this excellent movie with Bjork - the best movie he ever made!

  • i didn't even think they hanged people as a death penalty at that time.

  • Washington state circa 1963. Yes, it would have been a possibility.

  • i thought it was boy!

  • She`s voice was brillian! I`m crying, when I hear her song... Bjork, you are great actress! <333

  • I cried during this film. you did an amazing job on the video.

  • she didn't deserve to die.

  • why did she had to hang?

  • Just watch the movie (Dancer in the Dark)... Excellent!

  • by the way for those who didn't see the movie ... her character was coerced by a suicidal cop to help kill him ...that's why she was given the death penalty .

  • I really loved this film. It made me cry. Bjorks performance was absolutly brilliant.

  • Бьерк в этом фильме просто потрясающе сыграла!Аж муражки по коже....

  • They didn't really hang her, you know... And once someone puts you out of your misery, that'll be the real service to humanity.

  • what an ass...

if you dont understand her songs, it cause you have no brain!!!

  • right on!

  • ужОс

  • Lars von Trier is the best.

  • i'm in family whit lars von Trier :)

  • You must be joking... :)

I have almost all his films. I love "Dogville."

    Do you like movies?

What kind of movie of the you like?

    See you

  • No i'm not joking :) he is really kind!

Uhhh dogville, i like that movie!

Lars made many television series, for example, a verey famous serie in denmark, "Riget"

i looove Breaking the waves, i've got it from him as a gift at christmas! :)

  • May I ask, why did you think it was necessary to interefere with the original content of the film?

    No need.

  • hi, nevermind. I found it somewhere else.

    Still like yours.

    Thanks.

  • hi, I would really like to have a clip of this without the added music. I liked the mood of just her voice. Can you post that too?

    thanks!

  • David Morse has gotten that response to a lot of the roles that he has portrayed. How the academy has missed this man for so long is beyond me.

  • One of the IMDB commenters said they began hating David Morse, THE ACTOR (!!!) because of this movie, Dancer in the Dark, so despised was he as the bad guy...

  • Niesamowity, rozpaczliwy, doskonały film; Bjork najlepsza!

  • Jesus, she's amazing... this song is so... wow! And the video... just made me cry.

  • As a European I find the death penalty sickening, but a hanging like that was MUCH quicker than the lethal injection process used today.

  • I adore this song . . which movie was it from?

Man, I cried my eyes out the first time I saw it.

  • movie - Dancer In The Dark

  • @TitanSpace - If no one has says so... WOW! You did an excellent job! Even greater emotional impact than the original work. Very impressive. Hopefully, you've acquired your dream job as a special effects editor.

  • @silver95404

ME TOO! cried my eyes out!!

  • cant help but feel her emoton pour out of her. I stand in amazment

  • I'd seen a spoiler scene with the ending before I watched the movie so I couldn't cry but it's desperately sad and I feel terribel when she cries out for Jean.

  • the best!

  • Ive never even heard of this before...I had no idea modern hanging was like that...

That makes me desperately want to cry! :(

  • the hardest part to watch in this movie.... 1 2 3 4 5 57 61

  • Man it was a great job, just, lower the music level, sometimes it is too high... and saying u toog music from a game, may lower ur work making it cheap, still, good job.

  • I keep thinking I can handle this movie again but even the beginning part was too much.

  • I really loved this film. It made me cry. Bjorks performance was absolutly brilliant.

  • mi computadora es una caca

  • jajajaja, esa es buena, ...Bjork la mejor..

  • This didn't greatly affect me, until my mother walked into the room.

  • do we have to understand what say_? :S

  • I love this movie. the ultimate sacrifice for her child. I practically had to be medicated after the movie. Check out Breaking the Waves. Another amazing Lars von Trier movie with Emily Watson. I think I would rather take a beating than go through the emotional hell I experienced after these two brilliant, breathtaking movies.

  • wow

  • Im a painter and as much as i have have felt in my 15 years of painting this song and vid I have played over &over...I dont thing of this, but I painted to this girl When she was the Cubes and Its a trip to see her do this step of work...the end

  • funk'n' wow

  • How old is she she can't be more than 13.

  • She was 36 when the movie was made back in 2000.

  • Well looks like I was way off but how old is she in the movie.

  • Can;t really help you there, VUC3N, but at a guess I should think her real age of 36 is pretty much on the money. I know what you mean, though, she does seem very childlike and even naive throughout the movie. I think the ending is very long and drawn out - if they had just put a bag over her head and pulled the lever it would have been much more dramatic and powerful as a finale.

  • one of my fiends thought it was funny when she dropped at the end....i still and will always think he's an idiot..i blubbed my fuckin eyes out when i 1st saw it,and she was ded unhappy making the film too...aww...

  • its so weird..you kinda forget that she's about to get hung and all the sudden she DROPS! and it's just like *GASP!* really really sad. i cried the first time i saw this.

  • This song is very beautifull, and this horrible noise turns it to shit

  • Here lies poor Bjork, eating chocolate marshmallows

She thought she could sing but wound up on the gallows

The governor, cruel man, could have set the girl loose

But see how she swings on the end of a noose

Her acting was dire, almost worthy of soap

But we'll never know now she's been dropped on a rope

  • Cool poem.

  • Thanks - not exactly Shakespeare, I know, but ...

  • only the last song if you let it be.

  • A very long song, she sang,

after all that she did hang

  • The longest song anyone ever sang

But all in all she did get to hang
