@ididi9 If it was sugar, salt and flour, the studio would have major ant problems. Like I said before, it's all ground Styrofoam. The latter is what they use on true movie sets. It's cheap and efficient. Sugar and salt just doesn't make sense.
Are they using CGI faces in this one? (Not full CGI models of course)

for the big areas they used white felt cut to shape and for powdery stuff they used crushed glass dust
