Brendon Nelson is so lame and a loser if he ever beats Kevin Rudd and becomes Prime Minister then Australia will be screwed. The Liberals couldn't have made a worse choice. Elmo could do a better job and is probably a hell of alot smarter.I'll just cut 5 cents from petrol which will mean you'll have to pay for the that 5 cents a litre when it comes to taxes so it looks like im saving you money when i'm really not. Brendon Nelson YOU ARE THE WORST POLITICIAN EVER. YOU ARE A LOSER GET A LIFE.
Dr. R. M. Carter, professor, Marine Geophysical Laboratory, James Cook University, Townsville, says: "Both the Antarctic and Greenland ice caps are thickening. The temperature at the South Pole has declined by more than one degree C since 1950. And the area of sea ice around the continent has increased over the last 20 years."
Actually the Howard government's record on reducing green house gases is better than New Zealand's, which is rule by a Labour Prime Minister who received a gong for her rhetoric on climate change.
Why didn't you guys have the guts to give John Howard the old heave ho years ago. The squandered decade of Howard's govt hand in hand with Bush to stymie any meaningful global consensus on global warming may badly hurt us all.
It's hurting all of us here in South Australia with the absolutely unprecedented current heat wave and drought. We are heading for 16 straight days over 35C (95F) - The weather bureau officially blames climate change.
What on earth could Howard have done that would have affected the weather in SA? And despite what we're being told, as I understand, there's no scientific 'consensus' that the current climate change situation is totally or even substantially attributable to human activities. And as Nelson says, our total GGE's are just 1.6% of the worlds total. ie. a drop in the bucket. The main cause of the problem is the 3rd world and developing nations. China alone builds 1 new coal fired power station daily!
