Just respect their culture because saying circumcision is child abuse is just absurd. Why do you call it really abuse it's because the area is unsanitary for such an operation. I'm not anti-circumcise, but circumcision has some good benefits. Remember that operations have risks and benefits.

I have respect for cultures until they insist on violating human rights. Cutting off part of a helpless boy's without his consent violates his human rights. If water is scarce, you should be more concerned about cleaning your vagina. It's much harder to navigate those folds than retracting the foreskin and letting water run over the glans.

I can only imagine pleasures being 75% stronger, and the worst part is circumcision is almost entirely un-revers-able. Even the Foreskin reconstruction isn't like the real thing. Also I don't want to waste money on surgery, or anything like that. Male circumcision shouldn't be going on like it does in first world countries.

Yeah, the penis works just fine after the circumcision. You can still have babies. Its like if you have your mouth numbed so you dont taste anymore. You can still eat just fine, you just dont enjoy the food at all.
In case of sex the difference is just much more profound, since taste is way less powerfull sensation than sexual pleasure. Who cares about that anyways.
Thank goodness I live in a country where religion holds no power and genital mutilation was never a custom.

Okay, here is basics:
Circumcision on infants is generally wrong. However if their religion REQUIRES it, then I will not protest. If you can abort a fetus, why not circumcise it? But if there is NO REASON, DON'T.
There is no ACTUAL evidence that suggests circumcision reduces sensitivity in the penis. HOWEVER, the feeling would be different, some might like it better. But if you are wearing a condom it doesn't matter anyway.
Let it be noted I am circumcised. I do not plan to restore.

What I do know is that an infant is a human being and deserves certain rights. For one thing, he deserves the right to his own body, one upon which circumcision infringes. I would say that the sexual damage and physical pain alone (nevermind the horrific complications) constitute significant harm.

But MALE (<keyword) circumcision is not nearly as harmful as any of the things you pointed out (although I support polygamy as long as it involves consent). If anesthetics are used during the male religious (<keyword) circumcision, I am content. The children would most likely be fine with it unless they convert, and there are new regenerative medicines being developed if they do, so...

@Casna101 But anesthetic is very used. The amount necessary to remove the pain of amputating a body part is often a lethal dose for infants. And what about the sexual damage that inevitably results from removing the most pleasure-sensitive part of the body?
If an adult wants to be circumcised, that is perfectly fine. If he wants it done for religious reasons, so much the better. But forcing a religious ritual on a baby who cannot consent to that religion cheapens its spiritual significance.
