  • Errrmmmm... is he playing Golf, or Tennis?

  • village coach

  • i second ashok199

thanks this is very helpful---keep up the good work =)

  • i simply think that there is a lots of way in teaching tennis, and i must agreed this was another good teaching technique for beginner, simple & easy.. well done sir!

  • WHOOOO K FACTOR

  • hey for me its amazing and i learn from this only. anyway if somebody like matt thinks its wrong.......then do us a favor and put a right technique video here. plzzzzzzzzzzzz.

  • I think that you, sir, are the beginner.

  • This is rubbish! Top pro players do not hit the ball like this - you start off a beginner in this fashion and they will still look like a beginner for years to come. Even the instructor in this video clip looks awkward and unnatural! The correct preparation should be a racquet that is held close to the shoulder and loops down so that the ball can be brushed upwards imparting top-spin.

  • The faulty teaching of stretching the arm too far back causes many problems for beginners, including poor tracking, bad timing and lousy stroke production - all the fault of bad coaches like this guy! In any case the footwork is totally wrong and the instructor looks like a pratt! Modern tennis has more natural open stance footwork from which the body can coil properly from preparation through to follow through.

  • Also, this faulty preparation which is shown will condition a beginner to hit around the body on a horizontal plane - the emphasis should be on getting the racquet down lower than the height of the net at a position similar to 5 0'clock (for right-handed player) then to brush up on the back of the ball finishing high before following through across the body.

Watch the pros and copy! Don't teach rubbish which is of no value to beginners!

  • wow fantastic!!!

  • I learned this an easy, fast, effective, and totally differnt way. But, props to trying!
