@OverlordLS theoretically, if the water temperature is low enough, it would drop the metabolism very very low, mix in a dormancy period and an exceptionally deep body of water and you could end up with titanic sized life-forms. not on earth, but maybe elsewhere.

Of course, anything with a metabolism that low would likely never build up speed to get above the water.

Okie, welp, on top of that, these are FLYING huge manta-ray thingies. So, they have bot the seas and the skies to feed from. And if something that big exists, there's most likely something almost as big that it eats. If not, then they're simply some form of weapon or construct meant for taking out oddly specific ships sailing on that very ocean.

Or maybe the rest of the fleet is over the next wave.

@notsoevil665 Well, my point is that I've actually seen the "Bestiary" page where this creature originates. The author states that it dwells in the Bermuda Triangle and feeds off of lost ships. Considering the sheer mass of the beast, Earth's biosphere, and the infrequency of ships being lose in the Triangle, it just doesn't add up. Of course something like this could exist on another planet, but not here.

But whatever, it looks cool as fuck.
