  • only fucking idiots talk about american cars being gay and have big displacement cuz thats the only way they can have power bla blah blah.. fucking idiots dont realize that 90% of supercars out there have atleast 5 liters of displacement?

  • As a sports car the sti is leagues ahead of the trans am. For drag racing obviously a V8 has more potential. I just can't stand bashing of good cars because they don't fit this macho idea of having a shitload of displacement and horsepower. The sti is an outstanding rally/track machine and the engineering that goes into its handling is excellent. Beating it in a drag race does not mean it sucks. Only American cars are designed purely for straight line speed, your priorities are fucked up :P

  • what kind of rims do you have on the TA?

  • @ImColeTrickle73 If you could boost for 2000 I'd already have boosted my T/A.

  • Both very cool cars and TA is my favorite car but sti is so sick if you put as much money as that TA

  • @markona250r No, but okay. TAs is and are still cheaper base cost, and dollar for dollar displacement wins.

  • @Model192 "dollar for dollar displacement wins" ya maybe in a straight line................. but ya fuck subaru anyways u want a good track car buy a bimmer, want raw muscle and dont plan on taking any turns buy anything with an lt1 or ls1 and you've got pandora's box full of potential, boosted or normally aspirated. if you want the best of both worlds, buy a corvette : )

  • @Model192 Saying an F-body can't turn is a joke. Spend less than 500$ and you have a superior handling machine.

  • @Model192 Very true. All I did was a little suspension job, put 315 tires in the rear, and 275 in the front, now my Camaro handles like a dream.

  • @ImColeTrickle73 the bottom ends arent weak.... the head gaskets tend to be though

  • @ImColeTrickle73 And then you're using a FWD sedan. Also, two grand isn't enough, maybe for the engine, but you're looking at another 5-10 on the transmission and suspension, possibly more. Be realistic, this isn't a video game. Definitely cheaper to buy a 98-02 T/A at that point, or an STi. I own a 99 Grand Prix, and the price to make it compete against bigger cubed RWD/AWD cars was too much. But it is something to brag about, I'll give you that.

  • y are u creeping on me and posting everytime i post?

  • why are you bashing a STI with just exhaust and a Tune they will dyno 300hp+ at the wheels and run mid to high 12's plus get mid 20s for millage and get around great in winter. o and out handle ur v8's

  • @jed344 And they make love to your women because if u own a STI your dick is so small it will not please any woman.

  • @bloodgutterian sti owners arent compensating for shit, your the one who needs a big ol motor to compensate for something

  • @sciullo779 Right, because a turbo isn't compensating for the lack of cubic inches? There's a reason for the term, "No replacement for displacement."

  • @1987RS173 god you guys will bitch about anything

  • @sciullo779 Nope, not bitching, just being a smartass, I knew what you meant by your comment. :P

  • Same argument on every car video I watch made by uninformed people. "Ricers can never beat muscle cars" or "Muscle cars are cheap pieces of shit that can only go straight". /Facepalm

  • Your AWD 30k garbage didnt help you there against some torque now did it?

  • your a faggot diesel cool youtube name haha imfckindiesel ahahahahahahaha

  • those TAs look fuckin sick with the vette rims on it

  • this car isnt an STi, stop the vid at the very start. its a bugeye WRX with a big wing and gold wheels.

  • Your blind dude its an STI. The name of the car does not make it unbeatable. I can't tell you how many Ricer's I've seen at the track throw around names and numbers of thier car just to get their doors blown off by the inferior pushrod dinosaurs you and boost monkeys seem to show no respect. If you don't like the fact that there will always be another car faster than your car than get out of racing.

  • @TrowVr01 its not an STi dude. its a bugeye WRX with gold wheels. the bugeye STi wasnt available in the united states. so unless there is a T/A somewhere in europe racing a JDM STi, this is a run of the mill WRX with some aftermarket gold wheels

  • Ya, the thing is, i would rather have my trans am then an sti, in a street race, your only going

straight anyway. So why even worry about it

unless you just enjoy driving in the dirty and

    fuckin your paint up.

  • Im sorry the Dingo ate ya baby!

I meant to say, dont bring a rally car to a drag race, it will lose.

You dont see us bringing muscle cars to rally events, do ya?

  • That's cause RWD and dirt = no no

Don't be mad cause AWD sti's grip quicker than your muscle cars (even if you do catch em by the end of 3rd) haha

  • @BrianReynolds123

Umm, guess you've never seen a RWD "muscle car" do a 1.3 second 60'.

Camaro's, Trans Am's, and Mustangs aren't even muscle cars at all.

Get your head out of your 4th point of contact dude! haha

  • @joblo1978 so what is a muscle car then, last i checked those are the defintion

  • @IMfckinDIESEL

Mustangs, Camaro's, and Firebirds are technically "pony cars".

  • @joblo1978 They're called pony cars because of their smaller weight and engine options; they're still very much muscle cars when optioned with their largest motor offerings.

  • @joblo1978 Trans Ams and Camaros are fuckin muscle cars dude lol

  • @joblo1978 pony car is a body style description, they are still muscle cars

  • @joblo1978 seriously? camaros and firebirds arent muscle cars? youre an idiot....nuff said

  • aftermarket suspension and wider tires and the TA would smoke the subie on corners too

  • haha NO.

  • people usually dont buy subarus to drag race... theyre really not meant to go fast in a straight line. the trans am, on the other hand, is...

  • subies aren't meant to go fast.. they are meant to handle curves... i would rather have speed and power but thats just me

  • well, they are meant to go fast... but on tight and windy roads/tracks lol. i guess i enjoy both, but i would hate to have a car that could only go fast in a straight line

  • dont be ignorant, the freakin ZR1 Corvette holds the fastest lap at Nuremberg, or however u say it! like my car is an camaro IROC, u know what IROC stands for?(International Race Of Champions) modeled after the iroc camaros that were driven by nascar drivers, the IROC package is a handling package that handles better than a regular corvette(and corvettes handle very well) and by far better than any import, yall import lovers say muscle can only go straight, but do ur research, before speak, !

  • @camaro88iroc i would put your IROC camaro against my STi in a road course any day, and time, any condition. IROCs are nice cars, and your right, they do handle better than a stock camaro, but they dont hold a candle to an STi in terms of handling. a stock STi would absolutely destroy an IROC on a road course.

  • .. not even that.. its a slow car..

  • ok what is full boltons i have a 2000 firebird and i got cold air intanke ,hedders, high flow cats .and full exhaust ssry about bein a noob lol

  • You have a few "bolt ons".

Bolt ons are modifications that you can add to your car without welding or major disassembly of the engine.

Examples: exhaust, cold air intake, 160 thermostat, intake lid, camshaft, heads, short throw shifter.

    Stuff that isn't internal.

  • camshaft and heads are definitely not bolt ons.. everything else you said is though

  • Well they aren't hard to do and a lot of people consider them bolt on.

  • You would spend about 8 hours of work on a cam/head installation.

5-6 with a second person. It's def. not an easy job.

  • full bolt ons is a lot of stuff. Headers, y-pipe x-pipe or h-pipe which ever, cat back, lid, throttle body and mass air flow sensor (easily ported by a shop) smooth bellow, and some may consider an intake manifold a bolt on but i dont because its part of the top end, electric water pump, crankshaft pulley or maybe even an alternator pulley, and thats pretty much it. you could get even more into the actually definiton of bolt on but those are the basics

  • fair enough.

  • First of all...define fast, Fast in this day and age fast is low tens or quicker...VERY FEW FART FARTS can acheive this, And non can do it while maintaining some degree of durability....12's and 13's there are imports that can hit these....but there are also quite a few trucks running 12's :)

  • 12.5 and lower is fast. as far as street cars go

  • STI owners like men

  • ahahahahahahahahahahahh.... that's so funny! I laughed for like two minutes XD

  • @motocrossmaniac9 STI owners like men. lol true in my mother owned one.

  • @motocrossmaniac9 Seriously, they look like female cars. My wife wants one, but I don't think it will ever be my daily driver, it looks like a young college girls ride.

  • Doesn't look like you smoked him to me...?

  • looked like a drivers race to me, where the times at???

  • Muscle Driver:" No I meant a real race. Light to light" RICER:"Aight, let me just get some gas" Muscle Driver:" Oh you don't have to go far I have 2 liter soda filled with shrimp fried rice that should top off your tank" END OF STORY! LOL.

  • Ricers are like locusts on the net. I've even seen altered video of a Altima beating a Camaro but in actuality the camaro's wheels didn't spin or anything it was photoshoped on there. The real car that lost was a fucking Chevy Chevet. Ricers are more about how many tv's you have in there then raw power! RICER:"Yo, look at dem 22's" Muscle Driver: "How fast is it" RICER: "It go fast yo" Muscle Driver: "Prove it put it on the line" RICER:" NO doubt yo, we drifting right" to be continued....

  • The reason you've been seeing ricers dust muscle cars is the fact that the ricers droped over 5G's in engine mods and then raced a bone stock V8 that is owned by one of their friends. Or a ricer will dust a V6 Mustang or V6 Firebird but tag the video as "Ricer blows away Cobra" and "Ricer dust WS6 Trans Am". They all lie.

  • haha wow someones scared to admit that imports can actually be fast

  • @TrowVr01 th reason you see ricers dusting muscle cars is because there are lots of ricers out there that are faster than muscle cars. evos/stis/370zs run low 13s from the factory. a tune and exhaust and they are into the 12s. if you put 5k into an STi or evo you could probably be into the extremely low 12s if not high 11s. you poor muscle car guys are just so uninformed. you think just because it doesnt use push rods, it must be slow with no torque.

  • HA HA! It's been a long time since I've been on this comment page. A tune and exhaust = 12sec 1/4's huh? You don't get to the track much do you? LS1 F-bodies and Corvette's have done high 12's stock with a capable driver and 03-04 Cobra's have broke 12's stock. Evo/STI have fast times stock too but you have to factor in how good the driver is. I've seen fast factory cars do high 1/4 mile times simply because of driver error. 5K is for new motor internals to handle more boost.

  • @TrowVr01

Pueblo Colorado is over 7000' density altitude. We're down on power 25%.

  • Evo/STI/Z are all you ricers talk about.

The name of a car doesn't make it unbeatable. You take any of those cars to my local dragway (ZMAX) and the big boys will laugh you out of there. I've seen plenty of Ricers go there spittin out names and numbers of their car only to line up and get their doors blown of by 7+ Liters of pushrod dinosuar power. Even true tuners (Supra/NSX/Silvia) demolish those cars.Hell take a stock Evo/STI to the dirt and they will still break and thats what they're made4

  • @TrowVr01 how can you even mention how reliable an import is if it is insanely obvious you have never owned one? do you know what i have done to my STi in 59,000 miles? front pads and oil changes. my previous WRX had 110,000 miles on it, it needed front and rear pads, and oil changes. subarus last year were one of the best selling cars in america, and most of the models were built in america by americans. not in china like your GMs then assembled in america. its amazing how 1 sided you are.

  • I have owned imports. One of my first track cars was a 99' SOHC Civic.

My friends and I used to work on tuners all the time. Integra's/RSX,240's,VR4's, I've seen alot in my day. I don't like the new Ricer generation fucking up cars I used to love. All I can say is if your ready to run with the big leaguers you better have something more to show than a 12sec time slip.

  • @TrowVr01 Thank you thats what I have been saying for so damn long and man it is pissing me off, the ones I raced in my Mustang never get close..handling or speed...from a roll or a stop...I have only been beat by other muscle cars

  • Finally I start seeing Videos of American Muscle smoking the shit out of the F*CKING Ricers. Advice to the Ricers go get some chinese food with some chicken noodle soup and a soda on the side. Nah Mean!? Oh and the "Nah mean" was just so the ricers could understand. I don't really talk that way.

  • No because all fart-cans love to post their shit up everywhere because sad to say that there are so many of them out there and every one has an STI or Handa Civic because they are so cheap to get in the first place! American cars aren't that cheap. Example: I live in CT its fucking ricer central around here. I'm about the only Puerto Rican I know around here with a car that has real power (FIRE HAWK). everyone else (Other Puerto Ricans) have ricer rockets. Cause thats all they can afford.

  • HEY.. they are not FART CANS... its a bunch of pissed off Bee's in a coffee can LOL...u should come down to houston man theres abunch of 600hp+ stangs vettes T/A's smokin the shit outta ricers on saturday nights!

  • lol. i smoke ricers in my V6 chevy silverado. end of story XD

  • wow were u born in a fucking microwave?

  • on the track? last i remembered that was real racing.
