  • My 63 year old father Peter Lewin Sadly passed away on 25th November after suffering from CLL for over 8 years. My father was a brave, brave man who fought like a lion until the very end. Dad I miss you and I love you very much. X

  • My mother died unexpectedly of AML when on march 31st 2011. She didn't know she was sick.. she was 46. It being hereditary is a constant thought in my mind. I even hit myself frequently just to see if it will bruise. My hope is that my children don't have to go through what I went through loosing her. That's why this charity is so important to me.

  • @RaeGaia Sorry to hear of your loss.

Thank you for your support of LLS!

  • is there any way i can have a download link to it so i can put it on a powerpoint for a project?

  • @Bmix65 I'll message you about this. So sorry for replying late.

  • the weirdest thing, my best friend of 10 plus years, had leukemia 8 years ago when we were in high school, and then this year i got lymphoma. what are the odds of 2 best friends both getting a blood cancer. totally weird.

  • im a recent Hodgkin lymphoma survivor, my case was exactly like the boy in the black shirt, in the middle of getting my Associates degree, going to class, etc. just moved to Orlando, and a few weeks later bam! the cause of all your pain and swelling is because of H.L. I was thinking what is this surgeon talking about, smh he is crazy lol, then he said what it was, cancer of the lymphatic system i immediately started to cry. highest stage, caught it b4 it went in my bones.

  • @artsymae The boy in the black shirt is me :)

It's good they caught it before it spread. It's amazing how many people come forward and were affected with cancer around you when your diagnosed. I hope things workout ok for you!

  • @pjpugliese thank you

  • I just donate $5, although its not much but I am happy and will keep on donating it. I hope everyone should do the same, if everyone in the world donate at least $5, it all adds up!

  • @pikajojo2 Every bit helps!

  • My brother had leukemia. Diagnosed 3 years ago, passed away 2 years ago. The doctor's put up their best effort and did everything they could do. But they couldn't find what they needed. R.I.P Zach, I miss you and think about you everyday. I hope the Lord is taking care of you well. :'(

There a kids way younger than me here crying at night because of the fear and pain. I met a mother who is distressed because her 2 month old girl wont make it. I want to see my friends. • Hello

  • Thank you for posting this awesome video. I've used it on my blog as well.

One of my goals for 2009 is to raise $5,000 for LLS by my 40th birthday while training for a half ironman through the Team in Training program. If you want to read about my journey or would like to help with my goal, please visit energyunplugged(dot)blogspot(dot)com. Thank you, and God bless all who are fighting this terrible disease, and your families too!!!

  • I am running for the Man of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Sometimes we get involved in things after devastation touches our lives. When I was nominated as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the Year campaign I knew that I needed to give back, because of all the blessings I have had in my life.

I know I have been blessed - I am glad that I can give through my blessings back - to save those that have not been as blessed
