You would still need to connect a receiver video output to the TV, not to mention you probably want to hook up your speakers to that receiver.
But since your using a TV why even bother with the damn TV tuner on the computer any way?
Lastly don't use your laptop, get a decent desktop and hook that up so you can utilize HDMI or DVI and SPDIF out for the audio. Don't use S-Video and RCA..
i doubt you will get a surround sound by just plugging in the coax cable through the headphone jack, you need either an optical output on the laptop or an hdmi output and save yourself the trouble and have both audio and video come from 1 source.
if i connect my pc to the receiver with just a 3,5mm -> 2xRCA -cable and use 5.1 speaker system, will the sound play through every speaker? i really don't care about surround sound but if the sound comes throught from every speaker, im satisfied
@THEJEDEYEMASTER not that it goes in and out physically, but the video output goes out, not in. video goes from the laptop to the hometheatre system, not the other way around =).
@THEJEDEYEMASTER but for some gay reason, when i moved my system to make everything look nice, after everything worked, i fked it up and its really really quiet. so idont know if you have an answer to that or no =P, but yea, be careful when ur fixing it into place lol! waste of $200 right there =p
fucking dickheads cant they just make it simple connect all the speakers to subwoofer and connect 3.5mm headphone jack to your tv bam thats it but NOOO they gotta make amplifiers cockfires and stuff...
ok let me tell you something. using a surround amplifier requires that there must be either optical or analog 5.1. using only two you might as well just use a stereo amplifier. what kind of an idiot who made this video. you might as well call the title, how too hook up your home cinema too your cock.
wich conectors are available at your home theater system? if RCA you may want to get 3 of these>>> 0:40 , 1 for front speakers (lime output on your soundcard), 1 for rear speakers (black output on your soundcard) & 1 for the center and subwoofer (orange output on your soundcard) ;)
get a cough drop for that dry cough of yours before you do a video to explain things cause we have to hear you cough every once and awhile which gets annoying to hear lol.
If you have multiple source inputs then you need not hit the AV on the TV remote to change the video source and again hit the selector on the receiver.
because... i dont think hes using an only audio receiver. if you plug the laptop directly into the tv, youll have to go behind the tv to configure it and unplug it in case you want to watch cable or something. but with the receiver, the channel is set so if youre done using your computer on your tv, you can change the setting on the receiver and watch sponge bob or something..... or i could be completely wrong, iono. i love boobies
this is like a million years old please make a new one
