  • i used to hate it when this show would start when i was watching tv, until one day i came home tired from work and this was on and i just watched cuz i couldnt find the remote..and i watch it everytime i can now lol

  • scrubs is probably the best comedy ive watched. because it does have laughs but it is also so emotional its like a literal pain. dr cox at bens funeral and when he loses it after trying to resusitate(cants spell sorry) the guy on the bed with carla were without a doubt the saddest things ive ever seen not only on scrubs but also on any movie or tv series. that is the reason why i watch it so much. it can contain every emotion where most things only work on the one emotion.

  • maan you can put any video of scrubs and it would be awsome!

  • John, I love you! NOHOMO

  • John C. McGinley such an amazing actor :')

  • 4:40 to 7:55 the saddest part ever gives you chills

  • i love the song how to save a life and everyone was talking about it being on scrubs xx i watched that and it led me here xx i don't even watch scrubs and I am crying my eyes out xx

  • Gotta say the camera movement at 6:35 perfectedly catches the panic of Carla and especially Dr Cox when they're trying to save the patient. When he freaks out is so affective and you can really see the fear in carlas eyes.

  • If Dr.Cox gives up, you know shits happened!

  • 4:40-7:55 made me cry like a freaking child when I saw it the first time

  • @Brittanyevansinglee D it's k, my friends have done the same to me before.

  • @davem1992ftw Like I will watch the musical and that but that's it

  • Scrubs is the best :)

  • Whats the episode is 0:00-2:00

  • Whats the song called at 8:44?

  • i agree with your opinion

  • These ninja's chopping garlic in front of me..

  • 6:33 gets me everytime :(

  • scrubs = the best show in the history of the universe

  • Never thought "Yeah, you're right" would be one of the saddest things I'd ever hear :(

  • Do not watch this when you have to go to work. It's a downer for the rest of a day.

  • this will always be my favorite show its a shame it had to end

  • john c mcginley is the most underrated actor I can remember in a long time. the show would be nothing without him in my opinion. he is simply brilliant. not to mention the songs they choose mixed with the acting it's really hard to not shed a tear during these scenes. i have no shame in saying i'm guilty of that

  • The saddest moment for me was when the show ended and I knew I woulnd't have anything else good to watch anymore.

  • 6:40 - chills, that got me so scared

  • My lunch, The only time a tv show made me cry (excluding anime moments like the ending scene of angle beats)

  • The 2nd moment is definitely the saddest :( I haaaaaate that episode!

  • I recon it's smashing when doctor cox finally breaks after seasons of being the person who WONT break! Good choices !

  • Scrubs has the best soundtrack of any tv show ever

  • @alphaotter95 You can thank Zach Braff for most of that.. Ever seen Garden State?

  • The saddest thing of all was McGinley never even got nominated for an emmy for Scrubs

  • I'm crying like a little bitch. Seeing Dr Cox cut up is so powerful cause in 99% of the episodes you just get the impression that nothing could knock him off his stride. Sort of shows how everyone has their breaking point. Just got to be there for them when they break.

  • I cried all the way through this. Sometimes it's good to have a good cry. Good vid, thanks!

  • Goosebumps when Hallelujah started...

  • @TheRidllerXXThree cryed the first time

  • Wen Coxy's hands go to the back of his head, shit got real.

  • My Lunch (the episode where Dr. Cox gives up and leaves the hospital after his patient dies) made me cry like a baby. Soooo goooood. I can't listen to How To Save a Life without crying now.

  • @nothingelseicansayxo Same here

  • Im a Scrubs fan and during the episode of Bens death i cried like 5 times it was so damn deppressing and im a dude (A wussy dude) and in the epsode My Lunch i was so upset that all the transplant peole died and Dr Cox gets so pissed and sad and Carlas' face was so reallistic it made my eyes water! any hoo good job finding saddest moments but dont forget season 8 last episode becasue it was the last REAL season (season nine was bad)

  • What's the song at the funeral called? :)

  • @ludvig971 I think it's Winter by Joshua Radin

  • @deadrisinglord Thank you!

  • Scrubs always made me so emotional, people say it's not funny and crap like that..but not many shows made me laugh, cry and feel as much as scrubs did...

  • That part with the transplant patients gets me everytime especially cause dr. Cox loses it and just leaves. which was not normal for him because he always deals with death and can go on. Thats why it was bad for him to get too close to his patients

  • best medical show...and probably best tv show I have seen...and I'm telling you that I saw lots of shows

  • This is exactly what I needed. It made me cry, made tears go down my cheeks, and allowed me to get some much need relief from my depression and sadness. Even more so than all the entertaining, funny things I've watched her on YouTube for the past four hours.

  • The saddest moment ever was acually when they decided to try to do a season without the main character and the janitor. The last season was just nowhere near as good as the main show.

  • the only good thing brendan fraiser ever did

  • watched this while my girlfriend dumped me...sad but its all ok in the end :)

  • This is a great homage to possibly one of the greatest shows of this decade

  • sad thing, I knew Ben died right away , he didn't have his camera when Cox came back from getting the clown.

  • what song is played over Ben's funeral??

  • @markscott94 Joshua Radin-Winter

  • @djgibs95 Thanx (:

  • fuck dr cox is a brilliant actor

  • i've watched through scrubs seasons 1-8 countless times, and I'm a guy who did not feel the least bit sad at the end of marley and me or things that other people cry really hard over, and the thing with dr. cox losing those 3 patients makes me cry every time. the look on carla's face the whole time theyre tryin to resuscitate him, and when cox just loses it, that is the most real drama i will ever see on a screen. the real scrubs needs to come back for 8 more seasons, none of that med school

  • When I first watched the scene at 6:55-8:00 : I swear it hit me hard

  • you're missing carla's goodbye to laverne which is one of the saddest moments in scrubs. Also i wouldn't say said but very emotional the entire episode in which they jd and turk stay with that dying patient till he passes.

  • @gallayo agreed

  • The 3 patients one was the first time I've cried to a show about people and not dogs... I miss scrubs...

  • ben's death is DEFINITELY the saddest!

  • Memory lane? Is that you?!

  • oh god. the part where cox was losing his patients, that brings me to tears every time :'(

  • Yeah the one with perry's son mad me cry

  • Absolutely awesome, I cried :')

  • I swear... every episode of season 6 had me crying at one point or another >.>

  • 3:14 - Chills...

  • @navyfreek1129 I cried for like an hour after that episode .-.

  • I watched tons of movies. I watched people I was close with die. I never cried.

But this show, it just pulls me in it. It already weakens me, but the scene with the 3 rabies patients, was the first actual thing that hit me emotional. McGinley plays his role just that good, his eyes made me beg for him to get him back up on his feet again.

I don't know how, but this show is truly magical.

  • whats the second scene about????

  • I fkin dear ya to not get amotional when watching this video. If ya don't, your stone cold dead.

  • the three patients dying in dr cox's scene was one of the saddest scenes in any tv show not just scrubs'

  • scrubs was and always will be the best tv show ever, hands down

  • You know shit is all too real when Dr. Cox either

    1. Gives up or

    2. Cries

  • @theblakecallahan

    too right

  • @theblakecallahan and when he puts his hands on his head

  • @theblakecallahan or does both...

  • Lovely stuff, I cry every time, you got it just right

  • 06:55 The expression on Carla's face made me sob....

It was such a sad moment.

  • @diablo1675 You wanna know what made me sob? when Dr. Cox was gonna go home when his shift wasent over, and JD tells him the thing Cox told JD before, and Cox just says, while crying: "Yea, you're right."

  • Scrubs always gets me, I don't think I have watched any show which affects me as much. Great show.

  • I love Scrubs - it can be so funny yet so down-to-earth.

  • George Valentine's death in season 8, by far and away the saddest moment

  • whats the song name of 4.40?

  • whats the song name at 4:00?

  • @Hugoxxable

    Joshua Radin - Winter

  • They are such good actors at 6:32 ish. One of the many moments that made me cry watching

  • You should have had the part where Carla was saying good-bye to Lavern... But these were perfect choices. I loved them all, and I have to say the Rabes infected organs and Lavern's car accident were some of the hardest ones to watch.

  • @AnjuSaitenKurada carla saying goodbye to lavern was heartbreaking

  • Ben's death is by far one of the saddest things I've ever seen on TV :(

  • I got Goosebumps ...this is so sad

Scrubs is the best show ever

  • what was the song on that last clip?x

  • @ZeldaFan324 The one with Dr. Kelso isn't sad as it proves as is said at the end of the episode, sometimes to unite people you have to give them someone to hate. The last episode isn't as sad as they ruined it with season 9. Two of the others had episodes backing them up which are Ben's death with Jordans friends and Dr. Cox's breakdown after the deaths. The last one as I have said before just impacted me enough in that 1 episode alone to sneak in as it shows how the patients really feel.

  • @ZeldaFan324 Unfortunately I disagree. JD seeing his future shows that he has a long and happy life still to live therefore not a sad moment. The other 3 had points in themselves that stood out above every other episode of Scrubs making them more emotional therefore putting them in my top 3.

  • *Me looking at the last clip*

Me: well this seems a little bit sad but not as good as the other ones

J.D.: Lervern was in a car accident on her way to work. shes in a comma unresponsive

    Me: OOOOHHHH MMMYYY GGGOOODDD!!!!!!!

    *starts bursting out in tears"

  • winter by joshua radin perfect song for that scene

  • What Was The Episode Where The 3 Patients Died??

  • @MSaadJilani my lunch season 5 episode 20

  • @xboxgamerdethpie thx :)

  • I hadn't even seen the first ending before

  • the first scene from what episode is that from?

  • you really have to watch the whole series in order to feel the emotional side of this show

  • thats the way the world works you have to see the worst in able to see the best oh and 13 people dont have souls

  • @rainmaker271

I actually think "liking" this isnt really a good statement no?

  • thats the way the world works you have to see the worst in able to see the best

  • @ 6:56 that's when the water works got ME!;< it was Cool when I first saw this on T.V! cuz NO ONE saw me CRY!

  • i... i cried

  • what is the song at 4:45 ?

  • @westcoastkillerable The Fray - How To Save A Life

  • all scrubs actors are so talented hats off to them they made the best tv show ever

  • The music on Scrubs makes it for me, done a great job on it!

  • I'm sad tonight. so, i'm watching this and bawling my eyes out. Only two times in my life i've ever cried...

  • the beginning of this reminds me of when i was crying because i was scared of my mom having cancer, she took me and held me and told me everything would be okay. she passed away still, but it takes a lot to comfort someone else in that position

  • Bens death was the one that made me cry

  • I know there not real but these moments make me cry every time! Is amazing how a show as funny as Scrubs can be so emotional at the same time :'( <3

  • what episode is the rabies one

  • Comment removed

  • I guess i have to watch every episode of scrubs again...because for some strange reason the sad parts are some of the best parts the show has.

  • Scrubs is the only TV show that can make me tear up so easily

  • I wonder if JD had to do the same thing to Cox, I wonder how JD would react to his death?

  • dont forget when lavern dies

easlly the best show on tv when it was on

  • dont forget when lavern dies

  • It's like they pick the perfect music that'll get you tearing up every time!

  • What I love about the Laverne scene is that it's a huge change in her character. She's usually a comic relief charatcer who always gossips and is in people's business, and this is the first we see of her being emotional and her character truely develop.

  • great job, does anyone know if jd appeared in any of the 9th season, ive never seen it

  • 13 people haven't the heart

  • god, ben's death episode. to this day, still hurts to watch.

  • For everyone asking the Bens funeral song is Joshua Radin-Winter

  • Comment removed

  • @haydesj Me to, i just started crying at Ben and The Rabies patient. i like broke down in season 8.

  • The expression in Cox' face when he realizes/admits that he's in Ben's funeral gets me every time :'(

  • John is one hell of an actor, from the sad scenes in platoon to well any moment in scrubs

  • what does Cox say after the pasient dies? arround 07.20

  • @utforsk he wasn't about to die, was he noobie? Could've waited another month for a kidney...

  • @Curoudo93 newbie :)

  • Scrubs ALWAYS has the perfect music to go along with their emotional scenes.

  • whats the song at 3:14

  • Oh My God The TEARS!!!!

  • Top 3 scrubs emotional moments for me

    1. Dr Cox with those 3 patients who died of rabies,

    2. Ben's death,

    3. The most underrated moment in scrubs, when George dies in season 8.

  • @haydesj your so right #3 was so sad...

  • @haydesj i cried when George (mr Valentine) died

  • @haydesj what about the halelujah one?

  • @anakindarksideme thats 4 or 5 but those 3 are top for me. the scene with george always gets me

  • @haydesj the third is a very underrated episode, but i dont think its that sad, because the episode is based around comforting george, and how death is the next great adventure. Another underrated episode is the one with the paralyzed guy who communicates through the computer, it really develops the janitor as a character and i cry every time.

  • @haydesj Yeah, when George dies that was really sad. I love that episode.

  • @haydesj You know, george dying is my no.1. I felt like Scrubs kinda returned to it's older episodes with that episode. I also felt it was something that was so revealing and so relatable, that everyone coulda got something out of it. I also felt that this was probably something very common in hospitals. A man, no family, dying by himself, and convinced he is the only one afraid. Glad someone else actually felt that moment was as touching as I thought it was.

  • @haydesj what about leverne's death?

  • @elektrash17 not in my top 3 because it was just another person dying in a hospital from a stupid driver. You see that regularly. You rarely get to see how the person dying feels from their point of view and george's death really impacted me.

  • @haydesj don't forget Laverne's death!

  • @DJThrillB As I said to someone a while ago. The only reason Laverne's death isn't in my top three is because it is another person dying from a stupid driver. Unfortunately that happens too often and it just didn't really bring out any emotion in the characters other than Carla and she blocks it out for most of it. The 3 patients who died of rabies showed that doctors too can take a death to heart and was a really emotional scene. Ben's death shows that people are willing to repress memories of

  • @DJThrillB people who have died to block out the hurt that they feel which is shown by Dr. Cox at his funeral especially after he realises where he is when JD says "Where do you think we are". I chose George's death because it shows the impact of knowing you are going to die soon from the point of view of a patient. Just seeing the feeling that George went through proves that people may say they are fine, but on the inside they are really scared. Laverne's death would be top 10 but not top 3.

  • @haydesj For Ben's death, I was sobbing by "Where do you think we are?"

  • @haydesj is george the guy who JD and Turk were drinking beer with, if so, that's definitely on my list

  • @DisrespecfulSyrup Yes. I love that episode

  • @DisrespecfulSyrup Yeah it was.

  • @haydesj The scene w/ George was so great and sad at the same time.

  • @haydesj george dying is no.1 for me. I thought that episode was amazing. Simple, to the point, and touched my heart.

  • By God I love scrubs SOO much!
