  • ohhh suck your mum you ugly fat bitch

  • WOW

  • he is an inspiration to enjoy the path to the dream !

  • Yeah, I like this too. But everyone else is right about most of his songs. The acoustic versions, or other not so well produced songs are a bit better.

  • i'm so in love with him.

  • I like this... but I honestly like the mbira version better. It's just more intimate and... real, you know? I get chills every time.

  • This boy Tinashe, whose musics you are enjoying, is making this song about stealing Mangos! I planted those Mangos to sell at the Mbare Musika Market in H Town, Zimbabwe.

Tinashe is the stupid who is in responsibility for stealing my Mangos. I am very very angry to hear this boy boasting about stealing my Mangos!

You are all talking about his music, but no one is talking about the theft of my Mangos!

Do not buy his musics! BOYCOTT until this thug pays me for the Mangos he thieved from me.

  • who is this guy??? he is goood!

  • Thumbs up if you think tinashe is underated we are the movement lets spread his music links every blog every facebook stage lets get a million vies by end of year

  • I feel people think he's not commercial enough to make it in America. i think it's true to his music is down to earth and real and some countries won't be able to sell don't want genuine music unless it's catchy

  • Great.

  • check out the Mbira version thats in the related videos!

  • the beat is infact proper, i call it a mix of RnB with the African house beat. i could listen that he infact puts a zimbabwean rythmn which makes sense considering that the song is to depict zambezi which a the great river in zimbabwe. the fast beat makes it perfect!!!! lovely, well done tinashe l definately love your music

  • This beat doesn't fit the song at all the lyrics become too morbid too justify such a fast and upbeat beat

  • @EnsoChinn So? alot of other songs do that. go complain to them.

  • @EnsoChinn Not to mention its has a purpose, recalling dark moments in thier relationship and thier love keeping them together through it.

  • @EnsoChinn I think that's what makes this song so powerful

  • very nostalgic!

  • He looks like Dwayne Wade...just sayin

  • musica maravilhosaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • he studied in the uk for years. we learned bout him in music class, we listen to this song every day

  • ahhh l remember stealing the mangoes in the farm jus for fun Tinashe!!!! ths is awesme!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is so incredible!

  • I think I'm personally responsible for 10,000 views. Catchy as hell!

  • why is Lady Gaga more famous than him?....WHY?!?!

  • @jordake2007 true why ? the world is unfair .This guy is underated im with you today i spread his links all over the hangouts i know facebook etc. lets spread his music as far as we can we are the movement

  • I love the upbeat feeling to this song. The alternative Mbira version sounded a bit sadder. Favourited both of them! ;)

  • Black and white version much better

  • great song and stunning filming, man brought tears to my eyes.

  • Why cant America get behind this marketing? Because he is not beautiful to our standards, makes me sick to be an American.

  • @Kkempinski I don't think that's the reason: there are plenty of fuglies in the American music industry. And the thought of him being "ugly" never even crossed my mind until you said it - in fact, not even after you said it.

  • @erinra Then what is the reason love? Why isn't this song popular but lady gaga and justin beiber are?

  • @erinra I would argue it's because America doesn't find anything of intrinsic worth in Africa whatsoever. If we don't find anything of beauty from that country why would we have a marketing force behind any of their artists? Some Americans are different but I think a majority think that the god-forsaken continent has nothing to offer.

  • @Kkempinski (1) Okay, thanks for clarifying. I still disagree with you to some degree though. You make it sound like "America" is directly dismissing the talent that exists in Africa, when in fact, most of America is not even seeing the continent. Western media paints this scrawny, tainted picture of third-world countries, giving an impression of poverty, destruction, misery and "un-education". I've come across people who are surprised to find e.g. Pavarotti in the tiny town markets of Africa.

  • @Kkempinski (2) I think "America" has a subconscious tendency to look away from the continent, believing, like you said, that there's little of value there. It's not a case of them seeing the beauty and dismissing it; they're missing out on it because they never look in that direction.

  • I LOVE ... Just LOVE the musik.

  • Oooooo what a climax!

  • I had to like it to bring it to 500

  • Rhodesia

  • I like it....very refreshing...

  • so talkin abt how he didn't go to Zambezi to make the video! When Savage Garden did To the Moon and back, did they go up to the moon? When Tina Arena did show me heaven, did she go to heaven? Some pple r jus too trivial and picky! Enjoy the damn song and video and jus shut up!

  • he should make a song with K'naan

  • @joshy786 that wld b an awesome combination!

  • where did they shoot this? anyone know?

  • @zandiza im pretty sure it was CUBA.

  • this is brilliance!

  • Great song! Pity you couldn't record the music video on the Zambezi though- that would've been cool. Keep it up Sham

  • nice song, very talented indeed...hope yu go far

  • this song is cool, but i prefer your acoustic version with the Mbira.

  • great mix of genre

  • i cant breathing!!! brilliant!

  • Hey Tina, everytime I listening your song, you make me smile. Hope we see you in Jersey..

  • what a voice and song. Zim stand up...

  • chizanga you are an idiot my friend go and drink some haterade,he cant shoot a video in zimbabwe coz there is an idiot like you running the country who doesnt want anything to do with anything linked to britain,i wouldve thought that was a bit obvious,YOU ARE JUST A HATER,at least the guy acknowledges his country and doesnt deny where he is from like that noisettes girl,BIG UP TINASHE,such a pity that there has to be hater amongst us zimbos everytime.....

  • @deadnice100 lol u said it better than I could have ever said it!!! (loving the haterade part too much lol)

  • so beautiful

  • i am dissapointed he didnt attempt to shoot the video in zimbabwe, but what upsets me more is they have replaced zimbabwe with a country which is clearly not in the southern hemisphere of africa and he could have shot it there in zimbabwe if he wanted all he needed was a permit i just came back from filming a documentary there and it is a beautiful country!

Why didn't he sing by the actual zambezi?

  • @chlowean1 He doesnt owe you anything.

Do you want to go to Zimbabawe and actually film with dead bodies and bomber flies the size of planets flying around your head? I was there 3 months ago.

What where they going to achieve there without getting 14 thousand permits from the corrupt government and without Mugabe having them fucked up for exploiting their land. Its different when you actually GREW up there and LIVED there for years and years. Not for some fucking documentary.

    Shut up.

  • @SChizanga There are a lo of zimbabweans out there in my opinion which feel somewhat marginalised by expressing their true zimbabwean cultural heritage in the western diasporan terrain a lot of minorities look up to television and learn from what they see it would have just been nice for him to inspire a little zimbabwean kid out there to be more confident and happy about their cultural heritage that is all.

p.s The moon? really that was a far fetched comparison

  • Respond to this video... @SChizanga I am actually zimbabwean and i grew up there i work in film all around the world because i am an anthropologist. Despite the political uproar unlike you i can see my country for more than just a goverment, and guess what i still live there i just have the oppertunity to travel around and do what i have to do so if being in zimbabwe last week and not seeing dead bodies does that count for anything in your books?

  • @chlowean1 I agree, i love the song and the vid, but it would have been better if he shot it in Zim or even SA

  • @chlowean1 who told u he didnt try? hw do u knw if he tried and didnt suceed? stop being trivial and enjoy the damn song! When Savage Garden did the song To the moon and back did they go up to the moon to make it? steeeeups!

  • This is just gorgeous. Music like this is just the best.

  • bro, I've been dj-ing since 1998, thru all the years i have seen all music genres peak, fall by the way side, experiments of fusing sounds etc etc, & having heard your interview and back ground, i think if you want to stay and have longevity on the music scene after exerimenting with various fusions and remixes some of which dont do your music any favours; identify what it is that you want to stick with and you know people will notice and accept you as the artist you have projected yourself 2be
