Wow, I cant believe someone posted this particular scene. This scene has been with me since i first saw it over 30 years ago. Thank u so much for posting it. It still brings tears to my eyes watching it after all those years. And as we grow older, the words become more and more true.
This is the ending title from "Married" also known as (The Bride of the Incredible Hulk) The words what Meeno Peluce said are so true and good said that it makes me cry everey time I see this. R.I.P. Bill Bixby aged 59 R.I.P Jack Colvin aged 71 R.I.P. Frank Orsatti age 62 R.I.P. Ted Cassidy aged 46 R.I.P. Brenda Benet aged 37 and R.I.P. Christopher Bixby aged 7
@runclarkrun Yes it is. I was 7 years (just like you a kid) when this serie began (1977) and I have followed the whole serie. I think Bill Bixby had a sad life, He lost his seven-year-old son Christopher who died of a rare throat infection and his wife Brenda Benet who committed suicide
I've always remembered the sadness of the ending music to this show. I don't think I can recall any theme music which comes quite as close. What a sad and touching ending! Thanks for posting!
@airwolfman Thanks, I'll check that one out too. The Robotech one was nice and wistful, but I've never watched the show before, so didn't have quite the same emotional impact...
esta musica é linda

Bill Bixby - do those eyes, that expression, exist anymore?

I believe this was the only ending where we didn't see David actually walking or riding off

@bjroberts65 that's because it's Meeno Peluce, her real-life brother.

I still tear up every time I hear this melancholy piece....especially since Bill Bixby's gone. :(
Except, of course, when Stewie did it!

@Kees2803 Wow, all those R.I.Ps I wonder how Lou feels being the last surviving cast member.

I tried to hold my tears since this song always makes me cry, but I couldn't. Specially after the kid's words. So true by the way.
R.I.P. Bill...

Wasn't that the same little boy who co-starred on the short-lived NBC fantasy series Voyagers?
DoctorPretorious616 9 months ago
@DoctorPretorious616 I can't remember but his name is Meeno Peluce and he is Soleil Moon Frye's brother. She played Punky Brewster back in the 80's.

@HangTenHangmen indeed :).
Althouuugh, "Lonely Heart" from the Robotech soundtrack is close too. Short theme.
But scenes like these just show how brilliant the writing and everything else was at that time.
