In my middle school chorus, after our final concert every year, the teacher made us right down any song ideas for the next year. In 7th grade, I put Le Jazz Hot from Victor/Victoria down. When she got the list back, she was reading it and then she just started laughing. I'm all but certain that she was laughing because a 12 year-old wanted to do something out of Victor/Victoria, which was made like 20 years ago..

Pardon? Before you get your 14 year old panties in a bunch it might be prudent to do a little research. Le Jazz Hot was originally sung by Julie Andrews in Victor/Victoria circa 1982. In the movie Julie Andrews played a woman pretending to be a man impersonating a woman. Therefore, Kurt's 2-sided costume, which I'm assuming is what lead you and Ayameko to believe the song was originally sung as a duet is most likely a sly homage to the movie in which the song originated.
