Foster isn't fighting fair. I use what I call excessive examples when I teach to prove a point. Had Foster had only five people as crew and had attacked the other ship, wouldn't it be obvious that he was a fool for attacking? And what a dog to talk like this to a fellow captain! And I respect Pellew for not arguing. No one wins in an argument where tempers are involved. Discussions yes, arguments, no. The Captain did the right thing. . walked out. He's smart not a coward. Good lesson. :)
Horatio is a young man raised on legends like Foster. He doesn't know him personally but these officers do. They know what it cost the men who served him. Men who died who Foster could care less about, used as tools. He's egomanical but Horatio is only thinking of his reputation. He feeds on that instead of what Pellew talks about. His hero has to be right and he backs him not considering his captain. Idiots like Foster need morons to follow them and poor H did it at a cost. He finally gets it.
I get that you're anxious for a good outcome but do you think it fair to give away the story too soon? I've done the same thing with other stories and been angry at myself afterward because it ruins the story for other. Please think about removing your comments so it doesn't ruin the story for other that are following it. Thank you. Late or not. You might have gone on but others have not.
We never did actually see Archie .....uhh..... well, we only saw him drifting away. I'm wanting good news if I may, can anyone tell me if Archie will turn up in the future (found safe & sound), am quite sad about all these senseless killings by that cruel Simpson!
@pwkid Yes. You're right on. It's the right thing to do. We have little bits of power but to give away the story before its time is wrong. Thank you Sir/Mam.
1.58!! That's Horatio at his utmost dropdead gorgeousness..... Thanks Bramblefox, I'm enjoying so much your kindness posting these videos - very beautiful series, I'm loving them all.... but in not wanting to take peeks ahead, will he get a pretty girl somewhere at the end?

...sort of... :D He marries a girl named Maria at the end of the 7th movie. But she's a little plain...
I would advise reading the books by C.S. Forester--they go into a great amount of detail and are really wonderful books. :D

how do they send out and get in letters/mails in a ship?

Via packet ships, that carried mail. Sort of the ocean version of the post office. :D
