Gotta say i doubt that its 85 feet. Probably about 60-65. Basing this on both eye measurement and airtime. He gets about 1.9/2.0 sec airtime, and an object freefalling for 2 seconds presisely will have 19.6 meters drop (if you count out the air slowing you down). And about 20 meters is 60-65 feet.

Assuming the first skier dude is 6' tall, I count about 13 dude-heights from where he took off to where he landed, which is 75ish feet. At that height, 85 is a close enough estimate. Whether its +/- 10 feet, either way is damn big!

85', lol, closer to 50'. I know they feel quite a bit bigger going off, but in all reality this is much closer to a 50'. Remember, the avg. height of a full size power line pole is 40' (telephone poles, the smaller one are 35'). That's good tool for measurement if you're not actually using a tape.
