I love your hand! don't mean to make this sound creepy but I have short fingers and my nails are tiny :( so unless I do gel nails, it makes my fingers look even shorter if I paint my natural nails :( but thanks for the tutorial! It was really helpful ^^

This is a simple nail look and an alternative to regular French-tip nails. I paint my nails on the back of the big phone book or a magazine that I don't mind getting polish on or a piece of scrap paper works fine too ;-).

Very creative :] i like. A tip for you and other people, when you're doing the black, if it helps you can use a small paintbrush to draw the line and paint on the black OR if you have a black nail art polish use that ^-^ i've done something very similar to this using black and silver glitter nail art, i find the two go very well together and look really sophisticated :P

Oh also if you can't find a small paintbrush or don't have a nail art polish you could use an old eyeliner applicator, the ones you usually get with liquid eyeliner ^-^

so creative!! what did you think about the elf nail polish? I actually didn't like it.. it wasn't thick enough.. and the brush line streaks were clearly visible... is there any way to overcome that with the same nail polish?

I just posted a review on the elf polishes...they are rather liquidy, but I didn't find it too streaky! I think they're a great value for $1, but they definitely chip quickly. For brush line streaks, I would recommend doing a couple more coats to try to even it out?

I just posted a review on the elf nail polishes :) Great polishes for the price ($1) but definitely not as good as salon-quality polishes...and the darker colours may stain your nails!! But still a great bang for your buck :)
