They point out like 3-4 times that only about 10-15% of the Muslims fit into this category, and that the vast majority are peace loving, normal, non-dangerous individuals. This is one of them and it is predicting that a time shall come when this shall infact happen. It's not a case of defending them. It's about trying to understand what's really going on. A lot of the groups that are labeled Islamic Radicals are often nationalists who are fighting the invasion or occupation of their land. Islam is a tool that is used to unite and give hope. Even if there was no Islam most of these people would still fight because they don't like being invaded and occupied. This is why it's wrong to always say Islam made them do it.
