but there is noe problem the reason it is called virtual surround is because it is one speaker trying to imitate the 6 or 9 that surround sound headsets have so best thing to do is just buy a real surround sound headset

@airassault8695 I've dealt with virtual surround sound and real surround sound and they're both amazing. For example the tritton ax 720, turtle beach px5, xp500 are all virtual surround sound.

@jacktherabbit1717 I doubt it. Each dongle is probably specifically configured to operate with a specific frequency otherwise there would be conflict if you had 2 headsets connected at the same time.

@duffdawgable Great question and I highly doubt it although I never tried. Based on a google search it seems to be a no. For the PS3 it's a definite no and for the XBOX 360 all the little kids are confused and provided different answers so the answer is most likely no as well.

i made a huge mistake buying this for my ps3, the game audio or chat doesn't come from both tv and the headset, so i gt 2 use skype when i record bf3 videos, not saying its bad, just for me cause i sometimes record stuff.But it works great with my pc.

I would love to record some live commentary. I just scratched game play vids because I am primarily technology and I can't monetize from game play since I'm not partnered with any cool cat game networks. @Anthony24ization You can't unfortunately. A correction revealed it's not bluetooth. I just assumed it because it was 2011 and the PS3 supports bluetooth. You can try plugging in the USB dongle into a droid tablet and hope for the best though :D.

My headset was working fine until I turned them on yesterday, now they seem to repeat any sound they pick up through the microphone back into my headset so basically I can hear myself talking and any other sound it picks up with it even when it's muted. It might just be me being dumb and some settings got swapped on accident but does anyone know how to fix this?

@Ninryoku I don't think it's your settings I was playing earlier today and I have the same issue it's picking up my voice and I hear myself as well. The last time I played was last sunday and I didn't have this problem. I think the new firmware update might have something to do with it. But what ever it is I want it back the way it was this shit is annoying.

@Manosh0 Yes but all of these gaming headsets have inferior quality microphones for recording. It doesn't sexify your voice the same way they do in movies, professional audio recordings. So unless you know how to tweak your audio in software then stick to a $100 stand alone mic.
