it's quite funny, about one year ago i only knew her as mary poppins and maria, and these are characters that are always extraordinary friendly. than i bought star, watched it and saw her arguing with jack roper in the movie, and now she slaps this guy in that film :D

i'ts a pity i can't buy it here in germany, but i think i'll order in on the internet soon :-) the scenes i watched here on youtube really made me curious, it seems to be a great film!!

Best scene in the film is actually the one Blake took out of the director's cut--the version we see all the time. When she and Rock are trying to make love Julie can't stop giggling & most of that scene is cut. THAT was the best scene in this film & if you have not seen the original--try to. Blake destroyed his film with his own director's cut.

Don't know for sure. I saw it in the theatre when it came out--uncut & I recorded it uncut on Turner Movie Channel;. Don't know where you might find the uncut version today.
