Hello, I will be uploading videos and pics l8er, but thats not why im commenting. Im commenting because I am soon to be buying a bearded dragon or a blue tongue skink, but I have a fear of crickets. I dont want to feed my lizards mealworms all their life. How do I get over this fear of crickets, or How do I get around this fear. I'm kinda embarrassed of my fear of touching crickets. I dont know why im scared, but crickets just scare me. Plz help me

First off, just have to say.. cute vid, it was pretty entertaining and I enjoyed it, just wanted to say. repcal is a great brand, and it's what I use. the "pink one" is in fact calcium that also has added D3, but the "blue one" called "herptivite" is actually a multi-vitamin that just happens to have a little calcium in it. I found the video a little confusing on that fact. Bearded Dragons do need them both but they are different. and they're both important :)

@CORNSNAKES375 I was was just trying to clarify what you were showing people. you call them both calcium, which is confusing to people. one is "calcium" and one is a "multi-vitamin" that just has a little calcium in it. which is why they require both.

the "pink kind" is calcium

the "blue kind" is not calcium at all, it's a vitamin supplement

I use both, alternating every other day, one day Calcium, one day vitamins.

it's not to say what she's doing is wrong, this is just what I choose to do as suggested by my vet.

it is suprising how much a small bearded dragon can eat in a 15 minute interval mine could eat probably 150 to 200 those size (I obviously dont feed him that much)

oh and 15 crickets a day is a little bit too much for a beardie. They should be eating a total of 50 weekly when they are adults... the main part of the diet should be vegetables

The blue is actually a multi-vitamin, it doesn't contain any calcium at all. :)
